TaDa Did all the stuff Finished cleaning toliet Set washing machine on cleaning cycle Went to pick up dad and one of my sisters was there. She said she would take him. Went to botanical gardens with G and a little bit of shopping- since we had the afternoon off. Had conversation with other sister and told not to make a fuss about the parent thing. The lack of communication within our family is incredible!

yrwelcome- A good start to the day. Can't say my bed usually gets made but today I changed sheets and put both my heavy blankets on the bed. I will see how many layers are comfortable. Done this am Unloaded dishwasher-the store brand soap I bought does not work as well as cascade pods-will switch back. Load of laundry, towels. I dumped more laundry in hallway- the hall I just cleared out, sigh. Went to Ikea and wandered around over 4k steps. I really get claustrophobic in that store-a real maze. Had salmon for lunch. Picked up garbage from side yard where neighbors trash blew over. Now time to take out my trash and recycle bin.
To do kitchen needs attention. Microwave, coffee bar, pans. Put towels in dryer. Take out trash.

yrwelcome , did you find a good scarf storage solution? I like the hanger from Ikea a lot.
Ta da: 1) Empty bins 2) Cleaned bathroom 3) Ate
To do:
1) Download documents 2017 for bookkeeper (I forgot some) 2) Bring stuff to recycling station 3) Clean guinea pig cage
4) Tidy home office (I keep on making piles on the floor) 5) Throw away/donate 5 CDs today
CDs are so hard to declutter. I never play them, but I still value them a lot as I spent so much of my pocket money on them when I was young. But I have about 200 of them, and I only ever move them around from one spot to the next, so I can probably find 5 to get rid of now.

Yvette I moved my CDs into special binders - they hold a huge amount. You can put the "material" in one slot and the CD in the next slot and get rid of the plastic case. I definitely have more than 200 (back in the day I was on a subscription for 60s, 70s and 80s music!) and they fit into two large binders. I rarely buy CDs now so they are in "loose" categories with a few empty slots in case I add. I have a few artists that have they own category because I have a lot of their music - Elton John anyone? Anyway, takes up much less room and there is no real need to purge it again unless I really have the time or the desire because it takes up the same amount of room whether I have 20 in there or 200. I suppose I could get it down to one binder but that's crazy talk! www.walmart.com/ip/Walter-Drake-CD-DVD-Storage-Binder-Case-208-capacity/41964015Is an idea of one - but I'm sure you can find them cheaper or even at thrift stores.
