I took a pic by the plumber/mechanical shop, he said he didn’t “think” they’d have to come inside if that was the only leak....here’s hoping! I told them if they’d have to come inside it would take a few days more before I could do it. I didn’t offer an explanation. They’re gonna come look, as far as I can see it’s just the one small section of pipe under the house, the pipe before and after it are fine...🤬

It’s a wake up call for sure 👍🏼 I’m so glad I had already started cleaning! All I would have to clean is the kitchen, but it’s a total mess.

Glad to hear it james You are so close though...I hope you will consider getting your kitchen sorted. Try the 5 minute room rescue. See the kitchen in layers 1st layer: trash, 2nd layer Dishes, 3rd layer food put away in cabinets 4th layer: items that go elsewhere, 5th layer is the dirt layer; surfaces, floors, frige, Best of luck!

Well, they fixed the leak under the house and didn’t have to come in the house, but the hot water doesn’t put out any water at all for some weird reason. I have hot water everywhere else in the house though. At least the waters not under the house anymore, no leaks, and that’ll buy me the time I need to get finished cleaning up, then they can come in and figure out what’s up with the hot side of the sink... They showed me the pipe they replaced..OMG, have you ever seen the inside of your water pipes? I’ll never drink out of it again!

Good job james on getting the pipe fixed. I hope the hot water issue is a simple solution. Could you call the guy to ask - maybe he did something that stopped that flow from under your house. Only having hot water in part of the house sounds odd. Maybe he forgot to turn something back on. (I'm just guessing here.) I like def6's 'layers' of cleaning. Wishing you lots of success as you move forward.

Today was a very sunshiney uneventful day!

Suggestion james. If you want to stay on here on SooS you might want to consider starting your own blog. It is in the private/ members only section. Right now you are still in Introductions. (Your blog can be anything you want it to be. Check it out. It's just more private.) Yeah, drinking from corrosive pipes is scary. Glad you got that part fixed.

Do you get any help with your depression? I’ve always had depression, it runs on both sides of my family, sometimes it’s bad, sometimes it’s just there.. I tried all the drugs when I was younger and they just made me feel sick so I’ve learned to just live with it, but it does affect me..instead of addressing the mess and cleaning I just go to bed.. I asked this because I have had to deal with several depressions myself in the past. Medication didn't do much for me either, but I did find a few very good therapists who helped me taking steps in the right direction. I was on my way to become a total hermit. Anyway, I'll read the rest of the topic first and then see if I can share some tricks that helped me regarding chores around the house. Wow, you have been very busy! Really impressive!
