- I just need a place to write down tasks. I don't want support or comments. I need to avoid conversation and just get tasks done. I might speak in code to myself, by using initials or codes to describe various projects -- as I need to protect my anonymity.
On the former forum, I had a two-year to-do list. - I listed long-term projects.
- I think I called it my "random brain-dump" thread.
- Every time I thought of stuff to do, I added it to my list.
- Then I didn't have it worrying inside my brain.
- Every few months I updated it.
But this thread will have IMMEDIATE goals
AND
LONG-TERM goals

- TO DO:
Health:
Finance/Legal: DONE:Finance/Legal/Health - Talked to attorney about healthcare bills -- in order to straighten out issue with gastroenterologist billing from several years ago ... funds were held in trust from prior complicated lawsuit process ... I got my attorney to phone the gastroenterology clinic manager and explain the situation.
Now that the prior billing situation is resolved, the gastroenterology clinic allowed me to make an appointment. Yay!
- Therefore, I made the appointment for the tests that the nutritionist recommended
AND
- I made the appointment for the colonoscopy.
- I read a rather timely article about colonoscopies in news today:
www.nytimes.com/2008/12/16/health/16cancer.html My mother died of colon cancer when she was younger than I am now. I need to ponder what is in the article.
TO DO:
cold weather prep:
- look for boots
- .... cover outdoor faucet to prevent pipes from bursting.
Health: Inadvertently Done:- While looking for my missing boots .... and while looking for insulated plumbing tape for outdoor faucet, I had great difficulty finding what I needed, although I eventually suceeded. But I spent a LOT of time searching .....
However, while searching for those items, I happened to find a missing 12-step book that I needed for the Overeaters Anonymous questionnaire.
- Phoned my Overeaters Anonymous sponsor and told her some of the things I had previously written in my food blog. She said that what I've written in my food blog is actually part of Question #1. So, apparently I have begun my "Thirty Questions" without realizing it.

I know, I know - you don't want conversation but I just want to say - YAY! for all you have done and have planned to do.
