Nice work desposito ! I agree that the dice-rolling method helps to tackle avoided tasks! Yay - I finished my #4 which I've been procrastinating on since early March! It turned into a very long email, but nice to fill in my friend and send her some photos that had requested. Just talked to my mom and now back to my list. I will work for 10 minutes: 1 fridge cleanout and organize 2 kitchen, including washing dishes 3 do a work brain dump list 4 send bday photos (from Feb!) to A - what is first step4 Find digital photos of January ski trip with friends that I never shared! 5 Review 1 choir song 6 Food prep I got a 5. Hmmm, I'm going to roll again because I need to get up for a bit! I can listen to one of the choir songs while I work on something else. Ok, I got a 2, so I will work in the kitchen for 10 minutes.

everyone! I disappeared yesterday. I am having trouble adjusting to the "new' normal. When it seems like you have all the time in the world - scheduling in non-required tasks is a bit of a challenge for me. Try, try again. Watched a lovely service today from DM's church back home. Had a nice breakfast. Now I will get cleaned up, take my meds and then: 1) PEEP outside the back door and the back yard 2) Look for things I want for exercise in basement 3) clean off kitchen counters - yes again! 4) clean floors in master bedroom - her royal naughtiness was not feeling well last night - I think there is throw up 5) finish small bit in the spare bedroom 6) clean up family room 7) clean up other spare room - mostly laundry in progress 8) gather up toiletries in master bath and master closet and see what I have and what can be condensed - DH has a habit of leaving 1-2 inches in every bottle of stuff he uses. Sigh. 9)clean out laundry room #7 Work on spare room. Bonus on that is that it houses our electronics that needs to be sorted and go to the town e-waste so 1) maybe I will find my DVD player and 2) maybe I will find cabling to hook up my computer to the TV downstairs

Good morning phoenixcat !! I will work for 10 minutes: 1 fridge cleanout and organize 2 kitchen, including washing dishes 3 do a work brain dump list 4 send bday photos (from Feb!) to A - what is first step
4 Find digital photos of January ski trip with friends that I never shared! 5 Review 1 choir song organize compost containers on porch to get ready to drop it all of at a friend's later 6 Food prep I got a 5. Hmmm, I'm going to roll again because I need to get up for a bit! I can listen to one of the choir songs while I work on something else. Ok, I got a 2, so I will work in the kitchen for 10 minutes. ++++++++++++++++++++ Did 10 minutes in the kitchen - dried and put away all of the dishes that I've washed so far today, washed a few more. I was going to make myself brunch, but decided that I didn't want to make another mess in the kitchen! So, I just heated up some of the split pea soup I made on Friday, added some fresh parsley, and ate it with a side of fruit - sliced kiwi, a few blubes and 1/2 an orange. That hit the stop and created a lot less dishes! Time for my next number - 1...so I'm going to return to the kitchen (taking my dirty lunch dishes with me!) and work on the fridge for 10 minutes. ++++++++++++++ Took dirty lunch dishes downstairs to kitchen Worked on fridge for 10 minutes (my main goal is to get the food organized, what I have and get rid of old stuff. Will actually clean the fridge sometime in the future) Worked on kitchen for 10 minutes - washed more dishes Listened to two choir songs while working. Sad because our shows will be cancelled, so not sure if it's even worth learning the songs at this point, but good for my brain to focus on music, so will keep going anyway. I feel so tired and have no energy. Yikes - I hope I'm not getting sick. I don't believe it would be covid, but I'm not sure why I'm dragging so much. Going to take a 10-minute break and then generate a new number!

Your lunch sounds yummy seahorse, I'm vegetarian and it sounds right up my alley. Unless of course, there is ham in the split pea soup!
I'm sitting for a few minutes to rest my back--I still have to wash the top of the stove, I sprayed cleaner on to soak. My back has been hurting a lot over the last couple of days even though the lifting of book boxes is done for the moment.

desposito - the split pea soup was vegetarian - split peas, barley, carrots, onions, celery, potatoes and lots of garlic - very yummy! Hope your back feels better soon! Ok - just got a 2, so back to the kitchen, which is never ending! I'll wash a few more dishes and see if I can get it closer to a "tidy enough" place.

Hi Seahorse and Diane! Organized the clothes - both done and yet to do in the spare room. Moved a bunch to my growing donation pile. I didn't look at the electronics yet - will wait until I figure out what I'm (actually DH) is doing. As long as I was dealing with laundry - I gathered up everything to be washed and moved it to outside the laundry room. Bonus: I put away all the shoes - I haven't worn shoes in a month so mine have been sitting out for a long time. And, I put away all the jackets - some from my trip six weeks ago! Now: #4 - check floors in master bedroom. That should be a quick one and then I can start lunch. And, probably do a laundry switch.

I'm eating lunch now, I put the laundry in the dryer and looked at my list to see which things I definitely want to finish this afternoon. After eating I will order the library book for my senior client so it gets done today.

Hello to dtesposito , seahorse @munchkin , mouseanne and phoenixcat , and anyone else that I missed. Sorry to be so late joining in. I got started doing things on my list since I had rolled in advance... and just kept right on. Here's what I last posted on my last post from late last night: Next: "1" which brings me to #6 on my list which is Exericse.Hmmm. It's too late to exercise right now, so will have that one ready to do the first thing in the morning.Gonna go ahead & plan the next couple after exercise...Okay, the next one took me to #5 Menu Planning, again. And, then... I am to do #2 Paperwork. Need to do this one!!!
So, I did go a little out of order. This morning, I worked a long time on Menu Planning. So, only have 2 more days left to plan, but these should be much faster. Also, I did Exercise -- THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS! I did a nice long aerobic workout that included light weights for arms (I didn't even use the weights at all), and sit ups (crunches) leg lifts, etc. I'm sure that I will be feeling it, tomorrow. My face was pretty red afterwards. Then, the next one was Paperwork: Balanced VA bank account. Hunted & found more checks for that account. Spent forever searching for Parent's bank account additional checkbooks. Finally, found them!!! Getting ready to pay a couple bills for them & check on their bank accont. Also, have to check the status of LTC invoices that i submitted. All the above happened to be from the number generator..as stated above. I did do a couple things that I didn't have generated by the random number generator. Laundry is on my list -- but even though it wasn't generated to do... I went ahead & put that folded/hung load of laundry away. (I had folded/hung them, yesterdday). Also, I did give meds to Dogs this morning & fed them. Also, cleaned out one of their water bowls very thoroughly & cleaned up the spills that I made while doing that. Next for me, after doing that paperwork that I still must get done which I mentioned, above... I have to pick up an RX for Mom from the pharmacy, then take it to the ALF. I'll check back in after all that. CD

Hi cando!
I did order the library book for my senior client, then I called her with library information and the amount of the last check she will owe me. I had another phone call, then did another item on the list, 10 minutes plus on the bookshelf unit that has been sitting on my dresser. I've been emptying it off gradually, and today I finished emptying it and took the bookshelf apart, it's not in good shape and I will be getting rid of it. The pieces are sitting in my kitchen waiting to be taken out to the dumpster. I'm going to do one more thing from my list, that is make up a box (the kind files are stored in) and see how this type will work for transporting my plants when they move. The other items on the list can wait.

Hello! I went ahead and rolled the dice again with a #6 - family room. So, I did both the laundry room and the family room. I had about 25 place mats in the laundry room - no idea on the status - clean? dirty? Anyway, I just wiped down any noticeable spots and put them away. A big stack out to the garage storage - Thanksgiving and Christmas ones. Some more shirts to the donation pile. Family room "looked" OK but layers upon layers upon layers. Only one chair (mine) was empty. All the rest of the surfaces had bits of stuff - things from my trip 6 weeks ago - dishes from cleaning out the storage in January - magazines that were six months old - a purse that I don't remember when I used it last - fall? A mixer box from a mixer I bought a few months ago. Need to think about supper and more laundry. Will work on the kitchen counters while I cook as I rolled a #3. Or, I could just sit here.......

Great going, dtesposito and phoenixcatphoenixcat Yeah, I know the feeling of "no surfaces except for maybe one to sit on". @dtesposiito I know you are moving... but I forgot when? Checked parent's bank account. All looks okay. I paid the 2 bill payments that I needed to make. Labeled the package of linens that I'm taking to parent's ALF. Went to pharmacy & picked up RX for Mom. Took it to the ALF. Took longer as there was a bit of excitement -- an ambulance & 2 fire engines there. Evidently one of the residents kept pulling the fire alarm. All was fine... Then, the Activity Director came out & was informing me of how awful it is at the ALF... too many falls, poor management, etc. etc. etc. She went on & on forever. I think she means well... kind of almost screaming that I should get my loved ones outta there! Hmmm. I'll have to think things over. Some stuff made sense, but some did not. At least regarding my parents. Next I can't use the number generator cause I must do some cooking. See y'all later. CD
