risenshine - sure, but I expect full credit and a steep royalty!
One of my favorite authors was Don Aslett, back in the 90s, I think. He said houses aren't hard to clean. It takes forever because you people have so much stuff in the way! He wrote Clutter's Last Stand, which is now what I call my garage. His book was a light bulb moment. I stopped trying to organize everything, and started getting rid of more stuff.
He is great. Yes, he also referred to storage bins and the like as junk bunkers. He didn't change my life, but he lurks in my brain.

Welcome back, Bunny Phoenix. Wishing you well in getting to where you want to be. Just thinking, when we reach the skirting boards, we could say, 'Today I reached the skirting boards - yay me! I read a couple of Don Aslett's books - Is There Life After Housework and Freedom From Clutter. I remember reading one of them, thinking that by the time I had finished it I would know how to declutter my house and be super-organied, but because I was spending so much time reading the book, the clutter was mounting up even more . All the same, Don had some good ideas. Gillian
