Hello, I just wanted to reintroduce myself before I jump in. I used to post here under another name but switched to this one for a new beginning. I am currently living in a converted mini van which has been wonderful for me because it is a small manageable space. I have all sorts of great things in there so it’s just as good as home for me, fridge, crock pot, little food warmer oven thing, lights, fans, evaporative cooler, electrical power station, etc. I try to clean the car completely at least once per week and I am always reorganizing. I am on van version 8.0. My van is named Jesus Peace Turtle.  When I lived in houses before I always had a 3 level squalor, would have been four but no human waste, but very high up on the 3 level. I have depression, anxiety, ptsd, adhd and am on the autism spectrum so it can be very hard for me to get organized and stay clean. My van is probably a level 1 - 2 at most times, but easy to clean in one sitting. Right now I have it down to a 1 and intend to keep it that way. I am here to stay accountable with that and also spend time cleaning and organizing with friends! I am so happy to be back! |

Ps I’ve had my van since oct and have been fixing it up since then and just moved in full time to get away from an abusive situation. I have a chi weenie dog that stays with me. He never is alone in the van and I make sure he is always cool and safe. He is an emotional support dog so I get to take him with me anywhere which helps so much. He is 12 but acts like a little puppy! We spend a big part of our days at the dog park now that we are full time. I am lucky and only work fifteen hours a week online to meet my needs.

liaswan - welcome back to the forum! I've never lived in a van, and I can't really imagine what that's like! But no room for clutter for sure!
