Good morning ohblondie.
I ended up geting into one of the tests I needed to book yesterday. Medical anything sends my anxiety into overdrive, so I give myself amnesty for yesterday. I got the test done, took care of kitties and nothing else.

thanks for getting us started ohblondie--without your milk and coffee!
yesterday I impressed myself with my ability to adapt and pack and get out on time. but once I unloaded the car, I went into a non-working mode.
I am here until 2:00-ish, then I get to go visit JL. I have a LOT to pack into the car; hope I can fit it all in! The good news is I packed a lot of it up the last time I was here. The bad news is I don't know where my extra copy of Carol Tuttle's style guide is, which is the main thing I promised to bring up.
My momma says to Pack First, so I shall do that, and then see what else I can get done. Which means getting the laundry train rolling ASAP.
DONE: caffeinated checked online balance updated spreadsheet checked email

Good morning ohblondie, thanks for starting the thread.
PS, I hear you on the medical tests, I'm the same way--as long as kitties were cared for, all else can wait.
We're getting a supplemental grocery delivery today, it would seem like one delivery per week would be enough for 2 people, but they are always out of so many items that I feel I have to place another order to try to get things they didn't have. I think we will just do 2 regular orders every week--my sister eats some expensive vegan frozen dinners, so it's no problem getting the minimum dollar amount for a delivery.
After it gets here I will eat breakfast and then start working.

So, yesterday my sister had diarrhea and was unable to get to the commode in time.
Last night, even though the dog went out and did everything necessary before bedtime, she woke me up at 11:30 wanting to go out. When we went out, she had another BM, mostly formed and normal but large. Then she woke me up again at 12:30, went out into the yard and had diarrhea. Then she woke me up again at 2:30, went out into the yard and had diarrhea.
The only thing different about her food was that I sprinkled about a tablespoon of vegan cheese on her PM meal--my sister had a little piece of vegan cheese left over from her meal and when she has extra food I add a bit to the dog's dish. Usually it's some kind of vegetable or pasta, this time it was vegan cheese--which is made from common starchy food items, so it wasn't any weird chemicals or anything. I can't believe that that little item gave her diarrhea unless she has an allergy to something in there that she usually doesn't get.
Anyway, I'm going to need to nap today to make up for the lost sleep. The dog hasn't had diarrhea since the 2:30am trip outside so I'm hoping it's over with. I fed her a very small breakfast and will feed a small lunch so as not to upset her healing stomach. No more vegan cheese for her, just in case!
TO DO:
Go outside and dig up some dirt, it's been drizzling so I should be able to break up the hard dirt in the yard Check weather sites 5 minutes in 3rd room 5 minutes general PEEPing

desposito , I wonder then if the vegan cheese was also the problem for your sister. I hope you had a restorative nap and that everyone has recovered quickish.

Good morning golden! Good thought about the cheese, but she eats it regularly, it's just that she doesn't usually have leftover pieces to give to the dog! She had the cheese just last evening. I'm going to have to look at the ingredients on the package and see exactly what's in it.
I'm vegetarian, I would like to be vegan but never was able to do it. I've tasted some of her food, and although it sort of approximates dairy products, it doesn't taste good to me. The dog is food-oriented and eats everything, though!
When our grocery order came today there were three refrigerated items missing, as though one bag had been left behind. I called, but of course, they said they would just refund us as the bag probably went to someone else. They were really good for a while there, hardly any mistakes, but the last few weeks they've started having problems again. As long as they don't give us any problem about getting the refund, I guess it's okay, but if I have to start calling every week about something they might think I'm making it up. Unless they are making so many mistakes that every customer is calling about some problem!
I went out to the yard to dig up some dirt and it was horrible--I felt like I was digging in the desert. The dirt, even though it had been drizzling, was light grey and sandy, and I kept hitting rocks. This yard has not had anything growing in it for the past 30 years except grass, so if I'm going to plant anything I'm going to have to rent one of those tillers and buy bushels of fresh dirt!
Next:
Put together compost bin, finally! Sort out some tote bags of stuff with my sister Put the rest of the groceries away 5 minutes on 3rd room

oh I'm so sorry you had a poopy day (and night) Diane! I've been dealing with that off and on lately, which has me worrying about covid, of course, but I'm not fitting into any of the seven "clusters of symptoms," so all I can do is continue to social distance.
ah, thanks for sharing that with me, PS! I love those rich colors! type 3 its my secondary. I dig on texture, layers, edgyness--but in the tints. and I think "take what you want, leave the rest" is the best approach to every system!
yesterday I bought the coolest linen tunic with an angled hem in a light aqua... tried it on today and it was too big. I will take it back in two weeks when I am in that neck of the woods.
DONE: got dressed
three loads in wash two loads in dryer one folded and put away asked DXH about utensils and put them in bag for JL put stuff for JL by the back door filed clothing on rack pulled a few things to add to my capsule put receipt and return in bag took meds
added a few forgotten items to the totes
GET READY TO GO: decide what to wear take shower and dress eat something pack up food pack up toiletries pack up clothes once the laundry is done look for the style guide pack up the electronics take everything downstairs load the car
WORK: organize organizing kit open up a box or two
consolidate stuff

Good afternoon bree, glad you got a nice break!
I got involved in moving a few things around in the 3rd room--it's the last area that still needs work to get it the way I want it. Of course, once I do, it will be time to start work on the windows and front wall, which currently has no drywall on it--that will mean moving stuff again. I can't remember if I mentioned that our handyman, who was in the hospital for almost 2 months with Covid, paid us a visit the other day. The windows he had ordered were waiting for him at the supplier all this time, so he decided to pick them up with the help of his wife. He still gets out of breath easily so is not supposed to exert himself, so his wife and I carried the windows around to our back porch. He looks weak and skinny, but he's recovering and it's so nice to see him--there was a time when we didn't hear anything for weeks when I was convinced that he had died.
He says he's hoping to be strong enough to return to work in September--I'm hoping that he can do some small jobs sooner, I stressed to him that if he had to start back to work an hour at a time that would be fine. We have a leaky faucet in the downstairs bathroom that desperately needs fixing, that would be a good, small project for him to start with.
We have all had lunch, I was hoping to take a nap but I have the same problem I always have, I feel like I should be getting things done instead.
Next:
Clean up from lunch Move office supplies from bin to drawers Figure out what's in the last baskets in the corner 10 minutes on plants

desposito, I don't know if you can call a person who was in the hospital for two months with Covid lucky, but what a huge relief to survive and be back out again. I hope for continued improvement and eventual robust health for him.
