Yes diane. It's a adapter, so 6 or 8 can go into it.
I made homemade egg pasta. Its resting before I cut it. Probably cost a dime coz the eggs were a gift. Its going to be 2 cups of flour so will probably be 1+ lbs in weight maybe 2lbs
Now my hands are gone!!
Before the pasta I
Picked up Washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen.

, yes I have 2 female bengal mix cats, aka alpha kitty and baby kitty. Then I have 2 males, a huge 18 lb russian blue mix aka gentle giant kitty and a bombay mix that you can not see at night if he closes his eyes aka boy cat. Often first thing in the morning I will sit in bed with my laptop while posting and doing email. The kitties will lay on the side of the laptop to get my attention plus they like how warm it is. I got over deleting their additions and just add they say hello now.

A There's a personal business call I need to make this week. I've been avoiding it for I don't want to know how long, so I need to do it Wednesday. I guess I don't like to talk with strangers when I have no idea what I'm talking about, even if my purpose is to get information and their purpose is to sell me something! Also need to continue my B bedroom and C desk projects, and to return to D exercise, which I have forgotten about in this heat. I'll think of the rest of the stuff I need to get to tomorrow, I'm sure.

Well we got 4 inched of rain yesterday (unofficial reports from my friends who posted pictures of their rain gauges). It seemed like all the rain fell when I was driving home!
My dad had the news on and they were reporting from the end of my street! A big tree had fallen. So by 5pm the storm had sailed through my neighborhood. I left my parents at 530 to go home and take care of my dog, I saw numerous branches and limbs and trees down. We never lost power. I went back to my parents house about 7:30 and was greeted by a firetruck pulling out of their neighborhood development. It wasn't even their local department - it was from the next town over. I noticed the local gas station had no power and sure enough, my parents had no power. They have a generator so the lights, fridge and necessities were running. power came on as they went to bed. But I missed the storm when it rolled through their neighborhood. My parents and I live only a few miles apart - there is a river between us. Somehow I missed both storms and only experienced the aftermath. I did see the most glorious rainbow though - so vibrant - the first rainbow I have seen with so much purple.
todays goals Wash my sheets wash a load of darks tidy up my room - I am constantly doing that read through some old papers and recycle them

Good morning everyone! I can't believe I never came back to update yesterday, the day was busy and didn't at all conform to what I planned to do. I decided to walk to the doctor's office to get the paperwork I will need for Friday, so I could fill it out ahead of time instead of while sitting in the office. My sister was weird about eating all day, she kept saying she wasn't ready so I had to keep going back to check to see if she was.
Today I'm waiting to eat my own breakfast because she's eating and although I offered to help her to the commode before breakfast, she declined. Then when I brought her breakfast and she started eating, she said she realized she would need the commode right after. So I'm waiting until that chore is all done because I like to relax during meals and don't want to be called away suddenly.
Golden, I share your antipathy for phone calls. I find that if it's a sales type of call, it helps me to have a note in front of me that says "thanks for the information, I'll call you as soon as I make a decision." That way you are reminded to NOT let yourself be talked into anything before you're ready, sales people are so persuasive and even imply that you owe them something since they just spent some time on the phone with you. Good luck tackling this call today!
While waiting for the commode call I'm going to work on plants.
Diane

Good morning scholar!
Covid and the upcoming election have taken up so much of the news day that tragedies that happen, especially in other countries, are just mentioned in passing. And when we do get in-depth news about something like the Beirut explosion--on top of constantly thinking of the suffering caused by Covid and the political situation--it gets overwhelming.
We have all had breakfast now, it was beautifully cool overnight but today the warm-up starts--only around 80, but it goes up each day til it reaches the mid-90s again.
TO DO:
Clean up from breakfasts Start a load of my sister's laundry Sweep up loose stuff on basement floor 10 minutes on paperwork

overnight... I woke up on my own after 2 hours sleep, awake for an hour, asleep for an hour, woken up by a phone call at 1:45 which set off internal alarms - it was a wrong number, awake for 2 hours, asleep for 2 hours, husband woke me looking for something at 5:30 which is normally fine - today I bit his head off - I'll have to apologize tonight. It was a very unrestful night.
Did grocery pick up at 7 Put away perishables Had morning meds
went back to sleep and just woke up.
I have to do our yearly insurance selections and get paperwork turned in to HR. I also have to complete CEU's and while they still have not decided what they are going to do about the required 40 in person hours, I can get the 8 online hours done. They are easy afer all these years just time consuming.
So my plan for today is: lunch dish zero put away non perishables cat litter insurance paperwork 1 - 2 hour CEU class night routine
