Good morning!
PS, yay for helpful nieces!
TT, sometimes just forcing yourself to start gets a little motivation going--good luck getting going today.
I've done all the usual morning things, now I'm waiting for the handyman to come look at the bathroom sink, I assume he will figure out if it's just needing new washers or a whole new faucet.
After he's gone I will try to do some work until mid-afternoon when I have my doctor's appointment. Unfortunately it will be upper 80s today, so I already have everything closed up although I haven't turned the upstairs air on yet.
I hope everyone has a productive day!
Diane

bree... in the event they try to bill you, they are bluffing, so bluff back, hand the bill back to them and say my lawyer says I have no financial responsibilty. Practice so you can say it with a straight face. Sometimes just having a plan for my worst case scenerio helps my anxiety. I finished my list and have lost all motivation. Im going to work on a course online, do litter, do dishes and that is all. I think my inner child knows DN is cleaning tomorrow and wants to goof off today, .

Good afternoon scholar!
Good for you TT, keep going!
The handyman was here, the faucet needed a small part so he went to get it and fixed it. In the meantime, I had told him that the light fixture he put in the bathroom stopped working, it turns out to be an LED fixture that was supposed to be good for 5500 hours. While he was here he came upstairs (he said that 2 weeks ago he would not have been able to walk up a second flight!) and pulled it down from the ceiling--he said everything inside looked okay. Then he went out of the bathroom to look for a tool--while he was out of the room the light came on! So we're just going to say he magically fixed it for now, we'll see if it keeps working. It was nice to see him, and now I no longer have to worry about water flowing away down the drain with the leaky faucet.
I'm way behind on my plant work, so I'm going to do some watering and inspecting. I still have several plants I want to repot so I will see if I have the correct size pots for that.

Thanks ohblondie these are uncertain times. I guess they always are uncertain but right not it is in-our-face uncertain! had a zoom meeting that only required me to listen. So I took my phone outside and weeded the garden while listening. worked out great. For a late lunch, I drove to a nearby park and took a walk. I have been out of the habit of walking for the past week or so -- I was a daily walker --and so I am very glad that I did it. On the way home, I dropped off two donations. Now soldier through the remaining work hours. I will update my budget docs, hard work in a way, but very specific so easier in that way.

Bree, good work getting back to walking--I need to do the same!
Well, I had my doctor's appointment this afternoon, with the only doctor I can find in this neighborhood that will take my insurance. Let's just say I was not impressed with him--I had to point out an abnormal finding on my blood test results after he told me they were all normal, and then I had to suggest an abdominal xray along with the chest xray he wanted, since the entire reason for my visit today was abdominal pain. However, I'm glad I went, you can't do anything without having a primary care doctor and now I have one. One step at a time, I guess. I will worry about getting the xrays done next week. I feel pretty good right now, so I'm going to not think about any of this during the weekend.
I got dinner for the dog and for my sister, I talked to my shopping friend, and I saw the "boss guy" of the construction project next week was at the site so I ran out and talked to him--I got his business card, finally, and he assured me again that they will not touch our fence, and they will fix the damaged section. So I'm feeling a little better about that situation.
Now I'm going to have dinner, and I hope to come back here to do a few lists, because evenings get away from me otherwise.
