We just had a very short but very strong storm pass through--hail and high winds. I'm worried about the roof, but so far, no water on the ceiling... It will rain for a while yet. The poor dog is nervous because there's some thunder. I was on the phone with my shopping friend when the storm hit and suddenly it went dead, it turns out her electricity went out for a little while.
Okay, back to work--I'm going to do 10 minutes each on plants, paper and PEEPing.

I was just about to post my shout outs when DM called, and now I've forgotten...
I mostly hung out today, so now I have to get to work! had a second call working out some details of the website structure, which is important. M is upstairs banging on her drum--zoom class.
I hope I'm back soon with some serious results to report.

No time for paperwork; however, the day was consumed with good progress at my DMIL's apartment. - cleaned out her fridge of bad food - washed her dishes for the week (she no longer does them0 - vacuumed - quick swish and swipe of her bathroom - collected her paperwork to pay bills and ask that her name be taken off charity lists - cleaned outher microwave cabinet - brought laundry home - washed her laundry for the week, her pillow from the couch and cover, her kitchen rug - took out a load of items from her microwave cabinet; only 6-7 items are being kept. - went shopping for bathroom cleaner, resolve stain remover, sunglasses (she lost hers), and tall trash can liners
Best heartwarming moment is that when we moved her microwave cabinet, I found one of her valuable pieces of jewelry. She nearly cried as she had thought she had lost it!
Exhausted but it felt good to get a lot accomplished.

itsybitsy bless you for helping DMIL. Everything on my list except dishes got done yesterday. I am working very hard to keep my thinking right as my health is impacting my ability to do even minimums at this moment. This is the up and down of my illnesses. I am not a failure if I can not do everything today. In fact, my success in figuring out what truly makes a difference in my home allows me to make a list for DN that is productive when she comes to help. Also, I look at all my minimums first thing in the morning now and rearrange them, doing the worst area first so if I run out of energy what is left is not as overwhelming. Dishes didnt get done yesterday. There is one layer in one half of my sink of dishes. I normally do not use disposables but always have them in the house for when I get this sick. I broke them out last week. The dishes were a lower priority yesterday. to do meds sort yesterdays laundry fold/put away load in dryer scoop litterdish zero kitchen trash and recycling out meds

Wow - doing my morning check-in and I am amazed by all that got done yesterday. Even our baby steps add up to big things! I am at work - my temp is 96.6 in case anyone cares! DH will work from home but at my parents house to help cover while I am at work. I had a call with someone last night. She works for one of these professional organizer coach people. The call was free - but obviously they are trying to sell me something. She promised "cutting edge technology" in helping me deal with my clutter. I questioned that - as I could not understand it. I an see cutting edge technology (CET) when dealing with medical treatment or cars and such. But I questioned with her how CET works with hoarding behaviors. I could not understand what technique about dealing with hoarding was CET. I did not sign up for anything - I find this group much more supportive and helpful. I don't have to pay for someone to let me call them and report in. I can do that here. I found her "sales" call to be helpful as she listened and understood. She did suggest therapy or counseling which is something I know I should resume. So I need to thank everyone here for being my "coach" and cheering me on and holding me accountable!!

And now I know why I don't want to come back to work. Everyone walks around and talks to each other too much!!

Good morning!
Ohblondie, maybe CET meant that you get a computer program that lets you make lists and report your progress--which you can do here for free, as you said!
Today we are getting a small grocery order, hopefully some time within the next hour. Also, I may have to go to the nearby pharmacy to pick up meds for my sister, and I have to call the gutter cleaning company to ask them to come give an estimate.
The high today will be mid-80s, and then creep up a degree or two every day for the next week. So I should do my outside errands, which include a bus trip to a different pharmacy, no later than tomorrow.
While waiting for the grocery order I will see what needs doing on the first floor.
I hope everyone has a good day!

We got our grocery order, once again, my sister's "Amy's" frozen dinners are out of stock--those things go in and out of availability all the time. We have enough until our next grocery order, if they still don't have them my sister will have to ask her friend for help getting an order from somewhere else.
I called the gutter cleaners, they will come to give an estimate tomorrow late afternoon--which will probably be around the same time as the nurse will visit, but, oh well--might as well get everything done at one time, I guess.
The bad news is that my bathroom light went out again--after my last shower it started flickering and then went out. But that's not a big deal, I can easily live without it until it can be replaced.
TO DO:
Clean up from breakfast Find contact information for the realtor I want to use 10 minutes on plants Delete 50 emails

hi Diane! Amy dinners are covid items too??
did some work emails. A jigsaw puzzle as I try to painfully get information on this rush project. Folded a load of laundry. Started a load. Ate something protein. yesterday I had carbs with corn and beans and today I am hungrier. I find I am less hungry when I eat less carbs, after a day or too.
I want to do some weeding for my lunch today. Might have a sale on big plastic toy...

Amy dinners are covid items too??
You know bree, I'm not sure--they are a vegetarian/vegan specialty item, so it's possible they aren't always available anyway. But some weird things turn out to be Covid items--so who knows? I was so sure the shortages of everything would be over soon once the initial panic buying settled down, but I was wrong--there still are cyclical shortages of so many things.
Next:
Send email to realtor--glad to find an email address instead of having to phone! Clean sticky scissors with Goo Gone Water 3rd room plants Trip to yard and a meal for the dog

desposito...I think everything she (the PO/Coach) would offer I could get here for free! bree.....I wish you were my neighbor - we have a canopy you could have borrowed for FREE!! I bought it when KMART was closing and it was 85% off. I bought it just to have and we have put it to good use I really like my new co-workers - but one woman is such a chatter mouth. Every question gets a 20 minute answer!! Makes me examine myself closely to make sure I am not missing social cues. I just signed up for a 21 day equity challenge sponsored by the United Way. I am excited and I hope I can learn and challenge myself to be a better person. OK - time to walk...… Oh Bree - I meant to add - where my parents live there are awesome bike paths/walking trails that connect the different neighborhoods. They are awesome and you feel like you are in a forest in certain parts. But I do not think I would walk them alone in the darkness. I watch too much Criminal Minds to do that!!
