I have been so anxious today, but thankfully I have some things that help me, such as listening to calming music and affirmations, exercising, deep breathing.
I have wonderful friends, one promised to come to help me with the actual move, and other promised to come tomorrow to help me place calls and pack. Third one is coming next weekend to help me clean.
I have been mostly dealing with moving firm quotations today. This causes me so much anxiety so I am really proud that I have been able to do these tasks. I just contacted one of them.
I have also posted to local FB groups asking to hire help to take my sofa away, and other post about giving away the rest of my dog stuff. No-one has yet answered to the sofa post, but I found someone who comes tomorrow to take my late dog's remaining belongings.
I have been decluttering a bit today too. Oh and contacted one person about some furniture pieces they said earlier they could be interested in.
I have done many other things too. Just ordered some packing materials.

I just signed up for a 21 day equity challenge
Ohblondie, this sounds so cool, I hope you will tell us about it!
OnTheMend, it sounds like you're making a lot of progress--you are working through things despite your anxiety. I can so relate, I am anxious too now that I've actually contacted a realtor to sell my condo--but it's past time for me to do this, even though I will get a very small amount for it due to its condition, it's hanging over my head that I am still responsible for this property. The sooner I can get rid of it the better, even if I lose money on it.
I stopped to take a short reading break, and make a phone call to my decluttering client, and now it's time to think about lunch.
Next:
Get lunch for my sister Put groceries away 10 minutes PEEPing 10 minutes plants

Walked over lunch. It is hot as blazes outside. whew. felt good to come inside. It is so distracting in here. I did get all of my passwords changed and updated. I got an old time sheet submitted. Heard a rumor former supervisor is retiring. She enjoys the ability to "Not work" at home and she does not want to return to the work place so she might retire. She is the one that believes the office will fall apart without her. Welcome to reality - they might do better!

Hello golden and CC!
I heard back from the realtor, he does handle sales of this kind and although he's out of town this week he will come and look at the place next week. My friend, who's keeping an eye on things, will let him in. I'm glad this process is finally started.
My sister had her lunch so I'm eating mine now, I don't like to settle down to eat until she eats, otherwise I can't relax because I don't know how much time I have. I'm thinking of trying for a short nap before it gets too hot in the bedroom. I'll see how I feel after I finish eating.

Thank you! I did do several thing that were out from my comfort zone, and this day was sort of "prep work" for actual progress, which I hope to be able to do tomorrow! My frined comes to help me. You have exciting and scary and emotionally rough yet also hopeful and fresh times ahead of you. Good luck with everything you'll need to do in the coming days and weeks! I hope you can sell your house with a good price and will be pleased with the outcome.

Thanks OnTheMend! I'm glad you're having help tomorrow.
I got involved in watching cable news the second half of the day, and didn't get much done except the usual jobs.
I did have to help a wasp out from between the screen and glass part of the window, and the only way I could do it was by cutting a little hole in the screen from the outside--but it's okay, the whole bottom half of the screen was ripped anyway and will have to be replaced. The wasp just could not find the bottom part that was open, it kept flying around at the top for so long that I just cut the hole to provide an exit.
I thought I would have to take the garbage cans out to the street by myself but the kid down the street that does it just came a few minutes ago, so that's good. Now I still have to help my sister with the commode one more time before getting to bed.
Good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Wednesday already, approaching noon. Where is the time going???
I have achieved few things already. I slept very badly, I woke up in the early hours, couldn't get back to sleep, developed headache, took medication for it and dozed off for few hours. Finally got up a little before 9, about 1,5 hours later than I had hoped to (but knowing my normal rhythm 9 AM isn't bad at all, actually pretty good when I compare to my long term waking up times, so I can't be unhappy about it).
I found someone who comes tomorrow and helps me haul my old sofa to the recycling facility. One more task will be ticked from my looooong to do list! This morning another person collected the rest of my dog stuff I still had (my dog died over a year ago). In the coming few days a friend of mine comes to see few furniture pieces, and I hope she takes them all. They have recently moved from studio apartment to a house, so have room and need for more furniture.
Ta da! X I am affrmations (help with anxiety) X get ready X hand wash dishes X answer sofa person X a person comes to pick up dog stuff X clean bread box ready to be packed X start emptying glasswear cabinet on the table for packing X put cheap wine glasses to give away pile
Next: _ enjoy huge cup of coffee _ Pilates _ breakfast

Next: _ tidy a bit, friend is here in half an hour _ take out trash _ STARTED rent moving boxes

Good morning!
OnTheMend, I hope that you get everything done today that you had planned. You're doing great so far!
I've been moving my middle of the night wake-up check on my sister later and later, so that I can sleep for a longer chunk of time. Today I woke up at 3:30 and finished helping her at 4:00--that meant I was able to sleep from 10 to 3:30. However, I could not fall back to sleep even though I tried from 4:00 to 5:30. So I will definitely need a nap at some point today.
Now I'm up and have taken the dog out and fed her, but my sister is sleeping and is not ready for breakfast. I'll try to do a few lists.
TO DO:
Go through newspapers Find email with photo of pet grooming items
10 minutes each:
Plants Desks

today is not starting out to be the best day ever - so I need to restart my attitude and get it in high (positive) gear.
Didn't sleep well, woke up exhausted, and my pants were real tight to button. I have slipped and I am eating crappy food again. time to recommit to daily walks and healthy options.
So what is on tap for today. Half day of work as my dad has a dr appt; recommit to a walk at noon or late afternoon. Maybe a quick walk now would help - and gallons of water.
I will focus 100% on work this am. and check in at noon for accountability.
I can't wait to see what great things everyone else accom0lishes today!!

Well my day got better - I forgot I had committed Cali to doggie day care today - so I got to run home and pick her up and drop her off. Day care is right between my house and may parents house - so it is easy! And I got face licks from a happy dog!
OK - I have addressed several work emails so I had better get back to those.

ohblondie I am with you on the day reboot. I fell asleep too early then woke up close to midnight. Stayed up for an hour or so and then it took nearly another hour to fall asleep. Paper Mountain was on the list yesterday but DGK took the priority (day at the beach). Priorities: Paper Mountain - file folders in current; historical in filing cabinet in garage. Bring glass items from MIL to SIL Get cabin key for DH to bring to DS Lay out categories and sub categories for decluttering and organizing Consider hiring coach for weight loss and exercise - not succeeding on my own
