I hope you have a one-day-only mild something, mouseanne . I'd give myself at least one credit in the B category for taking a sick day. Get well soon! Here's some herbal tea for you if you think it might help.

goldenthreads thank you. I hope you're right. No fever, but cold. Watching Tv in liv room, finally grabbed a throw. Outside reached 73* I shut Windows. Went to bed had to put on wool socks and pull another throw over me. All I could find was naproxen, the Tylenol tube in my purse is empty, had just filled from my big bottle at work. Found 81mg aspirin, took 3 an hour ago. Can't take the naproxin, there is warning on it with my new anti depressant. Tummy calmed down, am trying a cola. Tried to sleep, I was up really early 4:40, but head hurts too much. I'd rather be at work, if not office, then at home. I'd sew, but the only thing I'm fit for is brainless, don't have anything ready to grab and go. Guess kitting up a brainless quilt piecing project should be on listzilla. Some wool sox need darning, but I'd have to dig for a tapestry needle.

This is sad, I got out the tube, it didn't rattle. So thought it was empty.
I had brought home Tylenol from my big work bottle in a baggie, to put in an Rx bottle, yes to label it. Realized where the baggie was, got it, filled an empty rx bottle, went to fill purse tube, tube was so full it wouldn't rattle.
Meanwhile I'm 8 hours into a splitting headache.

mouseanne - glad to hear you are feeling better! I am amending my challenge to only include dishes. That really is a struggle enough for me, and something I would love to make an every day habit. Day 2 - I ate out and only had 2 dishes. I didn't feel like unloading the dishwasher, so I hand washed the dishes. Day 3 (today) - I unloaded the dishwasher. Just finished cooking lunch/dinner and will get the dishes rinsed and loaded in the dishwasher before I go to work. Then I'll check to see what needs to be done when I get home!

Just one thing!!! Go, skatters, go! Tues TaDa A random habit of tidy happened. Last night, when I set my glasses on the nightstand, I noticed it was clean. That morning, I had put away nail tools, a baggie of Tylenol, and the thermometer. Huh. Interesting. It wasn't on a list. Didn't plan it in my head. Just did it. Picked up Rx Tried unsuccessfully to handle a matter at the bank. Not to worry, I was able to make alternative arrangements. Sigh. Oh, well. Went to work very briefly Then ran into city for Dr appt Long wait past appt time I had planned to do a bit of shopping and a grocery stock up at Aldi's, but we (DD was with) waited over an hour in the room. Hobby lobby didn't have the circle cutter. I had looked at Michael's 2 months ago. No joy. Bought 2 things. Tuesday Morning was next door, bought 2 things I wanted to stop at Wal-Mart for coffee mine doesn't carry, too tired I was shopping alone, DD had moved on with her day. Called her, did they want to eat? Yes. Went to their place, she picked up a family favorite, we ate in. A glorious Italian place ran by a Lebanese man. The best eat out dough I've ever had. Home, then nothing. F-1, that was my only meal tues

mouseanne - you had a full day with all the errands! Dinner sounds great! Day 3 was a success! I got home from work around midnight, made a cheeseburger skillet meal (for dinner tonight at work) and did the dishes afterwards! I handwashed the pan and ran the dishwasher. Day 4: I will unload the dishwasher and then take care of any dishes before and then again after work.

Hi mouseanne! Good job on your stuff on Wednesday! Especially well done on the self care with the inhalers! Still trying to tackle dishes for 10 days... so far so good! Day 4 (wednesday): Success!! I did a few dishes before and then all of them after work! Day 5: All I have is a knife from peanut butter, but I'll throw that in the dishwasher. After work... who knows what I will come home to. DS is supposed to get the dishes out of his room, but he loads the dishwasher so oddly that there might be dishes left in the sink, and the dishwasher might still be running. I could handwash the rest of his dishes, but usually they're gross enough from hanging out in his room that they really need a dishwasher run. So... my goal for tonight is to see where the dishes are, and move forward with them if possible. If not, it's ok if they wait until tomorrow. Off to work! Good luck mouseanne!

Rewards. I think I will establish the reward at $25 per 10 days. I plan to do 3 periods each month. That's $75 per month, a reasonable amount to spend on self care and things I want, but not need. I'll do a little bank/track. I may get frustrated with this, I don't know. But, I can save up for my expensive lamp. It's a want, not a need. We shall see. 25-week one 25-week two, ends 8/31 71-pedicure with tip I'm at minus $21 at 8/31 Weekend plan I estimate the following will take this amount of time in hours Maintenance 1:00 clean down bath 1:30 dust bedroom and dust mop bedroom, entry, library, dining room, up stairs New ZERO4:00 finish last box and a half if paper box mountain, gather/put all the little piles 2:00 take down living room window hardware, hang new hardware, wash, iron, hang curtains2:30 decide, hang living room pictures, switch an entry deco item, move remaining art leaning stack to library1:00 switch entertainment unit, move 1:00 dust, dust mop living room3:30 laundry hang mop, dust mop, swiffer, broom dustpan, clean random piles, carry stuff to basement, move washer, dryer, shelf unit, fridge, sterilize floor mouse poo arrange vac, Hoover floormateOk, that's sixteen and a half hours, no more on that list. Ambitious much? Gah!!!!! Just realized there's no kitchen work. Well, we shall see. A plan is always helpful.

mouseanne - I like the idea of $25 a day! But must you start out in the hole? I mean, the pedicure was for the first 10 days. Then set 2 and set 3. I just hate to see you trying to start out in the negative, because that's not motivating in the least! Day 5: Success! DS rinsed and loaded all his dishes, but dishwasher wasn't quite full so he didn't run it. My dishes were already in there. Day 6: Errands before work mean I won't cook for dinner tonight, just make a sandwich. I'll run the dishwasher after work!
