skatters, that's what I meant by getting frustrated with it. I dunno. 25 gift to me for 10 days of work...aeems about right,, since my big financial goal is pay down debt, plus its really really only weekends I get anything of note done. M-F would only be good habits days. Great job following through with the dishes! I've been avoiding finishing up paper box mountain. There's so little to do, its easy sitting on the couch, I've been in liv rm plenty. Haw! Crack that whip! F- Carried bfast and lunch to work.

Thermostat has 8 and half feet of furniture in front of it. To adjust I have to use a 10 ft pvc pipe. Bigger pain than it sounds like, I'm leaving it alone.
Not going to recycling, wanted DW running first, now I'd need to load more into van. I'll try to drop tues. They close at noon on Sat.

Probably not funny to you, but you drew a great picture. My equivalent is there are a bunch of boxes on the floor of my bedroom. To reach the top of my second dresser and the top drawers, I have to stand on my bed and lean forward 30º-40º. I do this only on those days I'm feeling strong and able to handle surfing. Can't get to the bottom drawers yet. on your Just One Things.

yea, I can't see the readout. So put my phone on camera and zoom in. Then, I can see room temp, but not goal temp. I maneuver the very wiggly pvc and poke the button. It doesn't beep, so I only know if I've adjusted it if the room temp is right, later. My resting temp is 76. My working temp is 74. I was on 74 doing the dining room clean out then we stacked the furn along that wall. I was cold for 2 days until I could get the setting corrct. Laugh it up. I am Thank you goldenthreadsTaDa Sat project C I had worked out in my head a way to hang cleaning tools along the N laundry room wall. It's a pretty tight path between the wall and the hamper and dryer, you pass it into downstairs bath. Last time I used the mop, I left it in the bucket and it first soured, then began molding. I have no idea how I managed before this without that happening. There's a piece of architectural wood that slightly overhangs this small wall, so something good besides sheetrock to drill into. Sooo. New big dustmop Wetmop (new head] hangs over bucket, so bucket will catch drips Dry swiffer Broom with dustpan clicked onto it Are hanging from nylon string, from cup hooks screwed into the wood above. It's a loop, one end hooks cup hooks then a small loop pushed through the hole in the implement, then back up to the hook. Ends up hanging on 4 strings. I did the hooks all 1-1/2" from wall, but swiffer and broom hang free and will blow in a breeze. I may move them back. Dunno. Used matches to seal nylon string cut ends. I blister burnt thumb and index touching one too soon. Shakes head. No a big TaDa but a big help those things have a real home. My head plan ahead was good. ETE'd tools.

goldenthreads, you be careful, surfing girl! You know how the shower curtain blows in on you? I'm going to make a giant "U" to hold it in place. I'm just glad I hadn't cut up the pvc, yet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a ten ft pvc to bail me out with the thermostat. I guess I could have hired a child to crawl down the dresser. At 300#, I'm not crawling on my new to me dresser.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have a ten ft pvc to bail me out with the thermostat. I guess I could have hired a child to crawl down the dresser. At 300#, I'm not crawling on my new to me dresser. Well, guess what! After I posted that, I thought, Well, that's ridiculous. I'll go in there and do some stacking if I do nothing else. So, bound and determined, I went in to do battle and discovered that that space was already clear! I don't remember doing that, but I have been working on my bedroom project, so I fixed it sometime in the last few weeks. I've also realized lately when I wash the dishes that I don't have to go back in the living/dining room to fetch dishes, because returning those is now automatic. SOS has given me hope, and energy, and better small practices, even if I still do waste half the day. Thanks for being part of all that. Yep, I know all about those curtains! I have a bathtub-shower combo. It is a freestanding clawfoot tub from the 1920s, and the curtains are hung from an oblong pipe arrangement above. I have thought of using magnets, but don't want rust, and the problem is now mostly solved for me. I got a shower chair for after hip surgery last year, and its width (and the chair legs "stepping on" the overly long curtains) prevents most of the billowing. I stand most of the time, but if a curtain has the nerve to touch me, I can sit down to finish. I love the idea of your U-shaped invention. The logic is kinda fun, too: The shower curtains will stop billowing once you've moved some furniture!

goldenthreads, I want to thank you for your encouragement! So kind and helpful. About your claw tub, the last house I owned was built 1903, claw foot tub. I imagine not as pretty as your 1920 tub. It had a shower ring for curtain and shower add on. So I'm well acquainted with your descrption. This house up bath has a claw tub. No shower rig tho. I probably will add one. Have it done, I mean. This house built 1920, I expect the tub is original. Sat challenge A-0 B-0 C-91 D-0, some reflections here, there, and during a phone call E-0 F-3 home meals I'm not worried about the zeroes. I'm fully accomplishing "do ONE thing." This 10 days had 2 weekend, so it's going to be great!. Two days to go, Sun, Mon. Sun Up Caffienating

Rewards contemplation. 1. One goal is home food. That cuts $pending. I also try really hard not to do processed, my only box food is pasta that comes in a box. Also cuts $pending. 2. Many people routinely buy $tarbuck$. What's that $5 a day? 3. Yes, 3. 3's a good number. So, $3 per day, even the low count days. $30/10 day. 4. So: 30 week one 8/21 30 week two 8/31 30 week three 9/10 Less 71 pedicure 8/27 $19 as of 9/10, so I can do mini purchases the other two weeks and not feel like I'm deprived or working for nothing. Well, really, a cleaner, more orderly, livable, working house is a pretty big reward in and of itself. Next pedicure is scheduled 10/3. Hmmm, I just calculated where I'd be at 9/30, it's $8. Wait, so I'd be at $38 10/10, and that works out to $9.50 for the other four ten day challenges. I'm good with that. Yup. Hey skatters, whatcha think? I have a little item saved on Amazon. Tues, I'm buying it.
