Caring for one's health brings clarity to so many things! Including how unimportant "things" are! I had a major surgery mid Nov and a long recovery but I have been decluttering by proxy, then on my own during my recovery time. I was too unwell to keep lists of items but did record numbers.
1453+ 584 Items 2037 Total
Wow! I truly did not know I would make 2021. I had every intention of following Bree's lead from last year and finishing even if it was after 12/31.

Thank you, ausmel1. This is going to be a long medical process, but I am currently feeling much, much better than I did a few months ago!

Happy New Year to those who have already turned the calendar page, and to the rest of us who are seeing the last few hours of 2021! peaceseeker, I am very glad to hear that your surgery was helpful. You've had a very long row to hoe, and I hope that your health does nothing but improve from now on. 1820 previous 1 small bottle of hair conditioner 3 shirts (one cut up for rags, one tossed, and one donated)
1824 so far Decided this is a racehorse that I will try to keep pace with to finish this off tonight.

I'm going to keep posting small bits all evening until I finish. I have not discovered a "treasure" trove of obvious things to discard, so I'll just keep going and see what I find.

Good for you, bree! 1835 previous 2 good, sturdy boxes that definitely would have been useful someday, somehow! 26 birthday cards from my youth, faithfully saved by my mother*
1863 so far * They were turned over to my care in August. Oh, my goodness! These are little saccharine period pieces of adorable, mostly blond children being their adorable selves. There are more, and I will return to these later, perhaps tonight. I am definitely for now keeping the certificate that shows that my parents attended parenting classes. 158 to go.
