Ended up working in my 'nest' area - where I sit when watching videos, snacking, etc. Definitely in need. I've lived in the midst of too much stuff/messes for decades, I just don't see how bad familiar areas get and look. And then sometimes, when critically looking, my eyes see it, like today. No judgement. No shame. It is what it is. Most of this stuff is recent, so it's fairly easy. Done: -picked up floor near my comfy 'nest' -vacuumed part of the newly exposed rug -pulled out furniture to clear and clean behind. Todo: -more pick up /put away -more vacuuming -put things back -stand back and appreciate. I think it will look great! So open. The cats will like it too. They've already been racing around in the areas I cleared yesterday.

Fixed and Ate breakfast. (Note: I've been skipping meals. I feel so much better when I make the effort to eat.) Washed up breakfast dishes. Got out of bed. Good afternoon, erniethecat and seahorse. BetsyMarie, it's great that the cats are celebrating with you! Had meds. Plugged in portable vacuum cleaner to recharge. I've had a persistent cough for months, it got worse yesterday, and I'm going to see if some dedicated dust removal from this upholstered chair and the area behind it helps. Started dishes soaking. Shower and dress. Go through all these paper scraps on end table, and figure out if anything is an action item. Vacuum all around the chair culprit suspect. Vacuum the chair itself.

Yay ernie! you are accomplishing a lot! Too bad about the bank website being down. Glad you got back to work even if your break was longer than planned. The bathtub is occupied, so I need to put that off for later. TODOs: Shower and clean bathroom Update Google calendar for time change of a weekly meeting from Tuesday to Friday. (Note, calendar may not have been updated since last rescheduling, so check other days too. ) Move books off of sofa. (They have already camped overnight on the sofa! ) TADAs: Picked up most of spilled popcorn near my desk. Gathered shower items and bathroom cleaning items. They are now waiting on a chair for later. Answered a question on Quora. (Actually a distraction, not a task.) Another 50 emails trashed. Visited a music forum that I want to be more active at. Wrote email regarding a scheduling conflict. Posted on board. Started a new thread in Listzilla to inspire my discarding effort. Fixed and Ate breakfast. (Note: I've been skipping meals. I feel so much better when I make the effort to eat.) Washed up breakfast dishes. Got out of bed. Moved about 500 emails to trash. only 17,000 left to go! Ha Ha!

Thanks Risenshine!! It does feel good to be getting through things. I think you should make the person in the bathtub clean it! I feel better when I eat too - and I forget a lot. I'm glad that I'm not alone :-)
