Hello, yrwelcome! Darn, freshly laundered linens on the bed sound wonderful, and the load that mine could have been in has just finished. I even had the energy for doing this today. Enjoy yours! Texted w/Relatives #1 and #3 about two more bits of summer planning. Transferred load to dryer and rack. Ran Roomba in bathroom. Count the papers I moved to table (for 2021 thread); shred and recycle the rest. Spend 5 minutes on boxes. Spend 10 minutes on table/desk.

Upstairs, set up radio and baby monitor so I can turn off basement breaker to replace closet light fixture I had to stop and think before I figured this one out. Brilliant!Thank you! The baby end of the monitor lives in the main floor laundry room. I plug it in when I want to monitor the machines from 2nd floor, when I sew. The receiver is in the sewing room. It's breaker 11. Turns off the closet, the to be sewing room, bedroom lights, extra room lights, sew porch lights. All the outlets. ALL THE UPSTAIRS IS ON ONE BREAKER. 4 rooms, hallway, bath. Got power off. Dismantled the closet fixture. Got down to bare wire. It's fabric. I know that's what's in the house, but I wasn't expecting it there. The wire to the switch box is modern grey wire. It's 4:00 Sat-texted my electrician. No, not Saturdays unless something's on fire. Ok. Understandable. I put wire screws on the raw ends. No, not together. I had to run an extension cord to upstairs. So glad I have two 50' ones. Sew closet: Took down the clothing bar. Neither end connected properly, and gaping plaster holes both ends. There's a 2x4 support in the middle that they dug a hole in the slanted ceiling to set. Pulled a bunch of nails. Hadn't found my mud,in the basement, and reluctant to go buy more wearing shabby work sweats. Didn't paint anything. Sew room I started pulling wallpaper. No tools, no water, just pulling it off. A kitchen trash bag later, prob more than half off. 6:00 stopped working. Showered. Power is still off. If I want to sew tonight, I'll use the ext cord.

...reluctant to go buy more wearing shabby work sweats. Sounds like just the thing to wear there as a genuine worker and not just a wannabe! They probably wouldn't recognize you in your shabbies, anyway. Hello, joyinvirginia and judylc1 and razy! Spent 5 minutes on boxes and actually found a couple of treasures (some of my children's best writing). Pulled clothes from dryer and put them away. Washed and cut some broccoli for this week's meals and snacks. Count the papers I moved to table (for 2021 thread); shred and recycle the rest. Spend 10 minutes on table/desk. Pedal.

Started dishes soaking. Made bed, and had water and meds. A small bit of pride: found the Fitbit the first place I looked, and the sync dongle in the second! This wouldn't have happened in the old days. I'm trying to charge the Fitbit now, but so far I don't think anything is happening. Count the papers I moved to table (for 2021 thread); shred and recycle the rest. Double-check that Fitbit is really dead; order the pedometer if so. Shower and get dressed. Wash dishes. Put away dry clothes from rack. Start a load of wash.

Sun TaDa Gosh, I'm beat. I don't think I should try construction today. It was my plan. Saturday, I had ran across a moving box mark K, spices. Well, I still haven't found them all. From the looks of the contents, half full, kitchen ephemera. I had emptied it onto the dining room bar table anyway.
So, DW not full, picked over what could dw
DW about 7/8 full, running Folded pillowcases

Good afternoon, gaylem . Hope you figure out the medication stuff. Hi, mouseanne . I really admire your bulk planning/cooking skills. Wise thought: Hear, hear! When is it a good idea to hammer or cut things, climb ladders, or carry loads? Not when you're very tired! Even measuring brings the risk of having to do do-overs. Started a load of wash. PUPA 5 minutes. Transferred clothes to dryer and rack. Count the papers I moved to table (for 2021 thread); shred and recycle the rest. Double-check that Fitbit is really dead; order the pedometer if so. Shower and get dressed. Wash dishes. Put away dry clothes from rack. Make bread. Do a whole lotta cleaning; I've done 1/14 weekly tasks. Math tells me that if I'd just buckle down and do two a day it would be painless. I'll see what good music and a gentle lecture does for me.
