Good morning everyone!
I just looked at the 4 weather sites that I have bookmarked on my computer. The predicted high today ranges from 76 to 85. First of all, we're so uncomfortably hot right now, so anything in the 70s would be heavenly, but unlikely. Secondly, it's the very day of the forecast, how can there be such disagreement about the high? I will hope for the 70s to be correct.
Today's goal is to do some cleaning in case people are here this week--bathrooms and probably vacuuming floors.
Today I'm awake before the dog so I'll eat breakfast and wait for her to be ready to go outside.

I had a birthday card to mail so took the dog for an early walk to the mailbox. Once again, it was pleasant outside until the sun hit me.
Sue, yes, I carried a case of 24 water bottles up the stairs. I always stop and rest it on a stair once or twice on the way up, I must admit. I tried a couple of times to just unwrap the case at the bottom of the stairs and take a couple of bottles up with me every time I went up, since I go up and down often. But it was too annoying, I'd rather carry the heavy thing up over the course of one minute than remember to grab bottles over the course of a couple of days. Your plants sound lovely!
TO DO:
Start load of laundry--dog's comforter Put seed out on back porch Restock water in fridge Place grocery order for tomorrow

Good morning ☕ I posted last night on the weekend thread. If anyone cares. 😉
Sunny, breezy, and 67f again ☺
Wow Diane, you're way stronger than I am! I'll try to carry more bottles up at a time and maybe I can work up to a whole case.
It got real windy last night before bed. I brought most of my balcony plants in. When I looked out this morning there was a BIG limb that came down across the street in the park!! Close to the playground! 😮
I called the city and told them. He said Thanks we'll come and check it out.
I have a feeling they will take the whole tree down because now you can see 2 other limbs that look pretty rotten. 😮

Well the storms keep circling around - but now it seems to be a bit clearer out. So happy my parents are able to park in their garage and we wont get wet when we head out. DF has a dr's appointment this am.
I did manage to get my laundry finished. I did the last load early this am.

Good morning ohblondie and sue!
I'll try to carry more bottles up at a time
Okay, but don't hurt yourself!
The next phase of my plant project is going to take a while. I want to take all the plants off each surface and clean the surface, however, it's the ideal time to check everyone and make sure there are no signs of insects or any other problems. Also, make note of all the repotting I need to do so I can prioritize which to do next. But it's very time consuming.
Next:
Put dry dishes away Put dry laundry away Empty dishpan, clean out and clean sink Finish cleaning the plant lights

Good morning Diane, Sue and ohblondie ! DN is doing the heavy cleaning; bathroom, floors etc. and I am so grateful! I continue to get a little better day by day and am even more grateful for that. done coffee, smoothie, meds x2 rest is deferred until DN leaves as I like to stay out of her way.

Hello everyone. Diane, thanks for getting us started- I love those penguins.
Today I had just fed the animals and did a backyard poop check (for the impending lawn mowing guy) and was in my pjs and no coffee yet- when I received a text from my boss, “I’m having trouble getting in the conference, how about you”. The conference that I thought was on Wednesday !!! So I had to scramble to get to this virtual conference. In typical fashion, I had ignored all the emails about registering and signing up, so I had to do all that and it was all on my new computer, so I was stumbling about with the keyboard.
Finally was on the call with hair combed, face washed, make up on, dressed, and sipping coffee. Thankfully the conference had lots of tech issues so I was not too behind.
This whole experience made me think I need to really up my game and pay attention more. I tend to just focus on the crisis or issue at hand and ignore the other stuff then it becomes a crisis. Sigh.
Last night, DD was feeling kind of blue - wistful about school year and all associated events ending, so I took her out to dinner w outdoor dining on the waterfront. It was just what we needed.
I cleaned the litter, emptied dehumidifier, put away clean dishes, did the five minute rule to try and conquer the paper jungle growing away on my dining room table.
I have to take dd to a school thing and attend a meeting - otherwise I think I can mindfully work. I want to make a big list of all that I have to do - I have been so unfocused except on the crisis du jour that a lot of stuff is backing up.
I think puppy experienced her first thunderstorm last night, as far as I can recall. It was a mild one but thankfully she seemed totally unaware of it, just her puppy self.
Re: water bottles! WTG Diane! If I am at store w out DD I only buy the 12-packs. Otherwise so heavy.

Good afternoon PS and bree!
puppy experienced her first thunderstorm last night, as far as I can recall. It was a mild one but thankfully she seemed totally unaware of it
Oh bree, how lucky you would be if she turned out to be a dog not bothered by thunder!
I stopped for lunch and a reading break.
When I took the dog out, the downstairs back porch, which is shaded, did not feel hot, there was a breeze and it actually felt good. The minute I went down into the sun it felt bad again--but I think the actual temperature is not bad now. Once the sun moves away from the back yard I'll bet I'll be able to open the door and get some fresh air!
Next:
Go downstairs to check for mail and packages Retrieve dog comforter from dryer Clean downstairs toilet, sink, sweep bathroom floor 10 minutes on enclosed back porch
