MamaAngie - my DD is doing her own laundry part-time -- when I do laundry I always offer to add hers - but she started doing her own as I was so stressed with puppy, laundry was lagging. for my work at home life, it was ok for me, but DD is very into fashion and was attending school, so she just started doing it. it is a BIG help! We attempted to get her into doing her laundry some on her own last year. She did it twice. !! With 5 people in the house it's a lot for just me. Husband will help with folding occasionally when he is home and I'm working on it. But it's a real stretch. 2 weekends ago, I said "Come get your stuff!" I had washed about 4 loads of clothes so everyone had their own basket to fold. Our son is old enough to learn and we'll get there. But we are working on other less desirable things with him now. But both husband and 15 year old rolled their eyes and moaned and groaned about needing to fold THEIR OWN clothes. I have given to her before to fold and I just don't see my baskets for 3 weeks! She just digs out of her unfolded stuff in her room. I figure summer is a good time to get her into the habit. Years back when my step daughter from my first marriage lived with us, she did her own. Of course I was always trying to catch up on the weekend and that is when she would like to do hers. I am going to aim to train E to do hers on Saturdays as I rarely do much laundry on the weekend since it's the beginning of my work week.

Last 4 sections of the assessment are DONE!! Now I don't have to worry about it. I totally spaced and thought we were LEAVING at 5:30 pm but we need to BE there at 5:30. So we're leaving in 15 minutes. Good thing everyone is ready!
Have a great evening!!
