Wow @twinkletoes ! That's a hell of a list .. One achievement I AM proud of is deleting 1000+ emails, in the remaining email is a treasure trove of words of wisdom and support from the daily Moodscope blogs & quotes,, and with much I life, I need to ACT on the words within

Good "morning" everypony!
okay, coming fresh from the perspective of DHX's memorial:
peaceseeker , take a week off! you have been plugging away under difficult conditions for 18 months! in Europe you would be taking four to six weeks off!!! celebrate feeling better!!!
bree maybe another way to consider your day off yesterday is that part of you needed it in order to tackle this challenging week. as if there is a "crazy wisdom" in that sabotage???
I'm just so clear that work/housework is not the purpose of life!
it was really beautiful how it all came together. and exhausting, I slept long and hard last night. I'm heading to M's to help her with a project, putting a new rug under the DR table. Gotta go wash the lake outta my hair.

Bree,
I think your idea about writing things out so you have a roadmap is very logical and will be very helpful to you. Like you, I squandered yesterday away, ate like a glutton, and think often about retirement. I have 7 more years until I can retire. Hang in there - take one step at a time, and remind yourself that you are a rockstar!

Diane,
Difficult emails can be so anxiety filled for me; I hope you are able to send them, feel a sense of deep relief, and then enjoy your lunch.

Thank you TT, I've been avoiding these for several days. Which is silly--they're much easier than difficult phone calls! But they are done. I'm eating lunch now, and I'm so glad to have sent these emails, I'm going to send a couple more--both are complaints about products I bought, and I debated about if I should even bother, but I'm going to--how do companies know if they screw up if you don't tell them?
Next:
Finish lunch Send 2 more emails Place an online supply order

Okay, I am DONE for today. I went out and mowed the front, the side, and the inner back yard--the only area not mowed is the part beyond the fence by the alley--and that really doesn't need it yet. I am tired!
I also called the vet to schedule the dog's spring visit, which is about a month overdue. They can still pick her up and deliver her back home, and they said they could take her tomorrow, so I said yes. That means no shopping trip in the morning, but I figure it's more important to get this appointment done. So, lots of postponed emails/phone calls taken care of today.

thanks mylittlescholar and TwinkleToesI finished up my big personal project - but due to my self sabotage, I had to cancel it. The self sabotage may have been may way of ensuring that would happen, as I was not sure it was the right decision or direction that I was headed in. Something I kind of wanted but not going about it with all the information that I need and it would have been a huge rush for such a big decision. As a result of trying to figure that out, I did minimal work on big scary project. I hope to put in some solid time tonight. It is so confusing!! I have somewhat of a road map but still need to clarify. While working on personal project I had to search for documents and it prob took an hour. I am so disorganized with paperwork . And I found what i needed somewhat in a box with important papers, old DD artwork, and photos. why such chaos??? because awhile ago I was in a hurry and just put stuff together in a box as the easy short term solution. No more! I have to go forward more clearly, and continue to clean up years of disorganization. one good thing - I did find some stuff to recycle and to shred. Working at home - I love - but it is very distracting TBH mostly due to the animals. They are constant interruptions and I only have half a brain for work. DD is older so she is not as constant of a distraction, but the animals are kind of like having small children around. Next - map out next steps for work project look up spreadsheet create several new process documents

everypony!
well apparently I was the one who needed the advice about taking a vacation--I strained my lower back at M's. Not too badly, fortunately, but I did have to lie down for a while and think about the possibility that I might be out of pocket. Glad I was able to drive home. Took it slow, it was stormy.
I helped M put down one of those new washable rugs. It is a clever idea and she picked out a really pretty design that works well in the space. But we had to watch a YT video to see how to put it together. She came up with the clever idea to use her swiffer mop without its duster as a brayer to smooth the rug onto its velcro-like base.
My house is messier than it has been in a very long time. I brought home extra food that I need to toss or fit into the fridge. The fridge is icky and needs a good sorting. I haven't unpacked from last weekend. At least the laundry isn't too far behind. And then there is the basic cleaning.
I did make a payment that was bugging me today. I got my payment for the closet job out of the app it was stuck in by transferring it to another bank, but I want to let them know about the unresolved problem. they closed my case because it had been three days with no reply, so I have to start over. annoying.
I need to clean up the kitchen before I can cook in it if I want to eat something besides cookies. So that is probably the priority.

Good morning!
Some time in the next half-hour the dog will be picked up by the animal hospital for her visit, so we're just waiting for the call. I typed up a list for the hospital of what I want done, what I don't want done, and some things to check. I always have to remind them when they pick her up that even though she is super-friendly and affectionate with people, she is aggressive with other dogs. I'm so grateful that the hospital is doing this pick-up/delivery, and hope they continue it even though Covid is winding down.
I'll start on my lists once they pick her up.

Good morning ☕ 50f here. Going up to 69f.
That's nice the vet does pick up and drop-off, Diane! 👍
My brother's hedge is getting out of control! I started working on it yesterday and hauled the trimmings and a bag of weeds to the city compost site. It still needs more work.

not sure where to start so I will just jump right in
Hot as heck yesterday - thunderstorms over night - very cool out this am. And cloudy and still rainy in spots.
Our family picnic was lovely. One grandkid did not come and two cousins did not come. My mom does not like dogs but I brought my dog with the understanding that she stay outside and we cleanup after her. Well my dog was the hit of the party - my cousin's daughter and my nephew both have some special needs (around anxiety and spectrum and such) I got out of the car and the girl was so excited - she kept saying I made her day! She sat with my dog most of the afternoon. At one point the girl had her head on her mom's lap and my dog had her head on the girl's lap. I wish I had a picture of that. We all thought the part was awesome - my mom was upset because a small corner of the garage did not get swept out and that ruined the party for her. UGH....... And I wonder why I am the way I am.......
I was able to get a somewhat decent break - I got a couple of good nights with a good sleep. Now I am back to waking up at 2am.... I did not get as much done as I had hoped - but I still got through some clothes and other stuff. I stood in the LR last night - and everything I touched I was moving to the save pile. "I got this red shite and blue basket to use on the holidays (and we are a military family) But as I looked around - I was not sure where or how I would display it. Then I picked up a handful of silicone bakeware stuff. I have had that for at least 5 years - I have never used it - I don't want to give it to my DD to add to her mess.... and would I really like it and use it? It is brand new in the packaging. In my room I easily pulled out some games and a brand new blanket. So I am moving forward - and really talking myself into letting go of the "good" stuff. My sister heads home tomorrow and I go back to my parents tomorrow.
Really big news is - next wednesday - my parents are moving to an assisted living facility. It will be a one bedroom apartment, very small apartment. Hopefully both dressers will fit in the bedroom. A sofa and chair and desk and tv stand will fit in the LR. It has two decent sized closets. All meals are prepared. the apt gets cleaned for them. Laundry is done for them. they eat in a dining room. There are all kinds of spaces and places to go and do things. A beautiful library room, a craft room with puzzles and games. A private dining room that can be reserved for family events.
We will take our time emptying out their house. We have already had people express an interest in purchasing it. So I need to double time it to get my house emptied so that the few items I am taking have room. I am taking the day bed for my guest room; a marble top end table; and a few random things.
So that is my news.
