Go erniethecat go - doing it anyway is the key!! TA DA Work task NBNI - done! Washed a few dishes, next small batch is soaking Rinsed soaking chickpeas and put them on stove to cook (need to remember them!!) Rinsed out a recyclable container and put in bin on porch Forgot to water the remainder of the plants and then decided to get up and do it right then rather than wait. TO DO Quick email to OMJ to close a loop Review work to do and prioritize next few tasks Wash 1 dish

To all, appreciate your lists, serve as great reminders for me Back to baby steps to catch up, med reaction (stomach bleed from rx med) sent me to hospital for 3 days dishes short dog walk review,list organize meds (was med free until the stent thing early June) PUPA around the house as I go, think I am caught up i.e. back to a few clear surfaces make Instant Pot chicken gizzards walk dog, chk mailbox,chk water meter catch up email

TO DO Work task that I've been avoiding - MBCT - at least find the emails and read them 5 minutes - can I clear space on one of new storage room shelves for box that is in hallway? Look at my and SL calendars - find short window of time to schedule quick phone call

Oh my - sometimes when I start to get organized and productive, I realize how much there is to do, my anxiety kicks into high gear and I become frozen. Then I turn to numbing mechanisms - avoidance, procrastination, poor habits (eating, binge-watching, wasting time) to relieve the anxiety. Anxiety is kicking into high gear right now and I'm hoping to accept it, figure out how to cope rather than hide, and keep going with turtle steps.
TA DA Work task that I've been avoiding - MBCT - at least find the emails and read them - started this Checked and turned off cooking chickpeas Cleared space on one of new storage room shelves for box that is in hallway and it is now out of the hallway! Did a little analyzing of the hallway to determine how I can eventual clear out some other stuff and have it be more peaceful. Took the time to look at calendars and schedule an important phone call for tomorrow Called dentist to confirm a future appt, ended up paying a bill which was outstanding, which I would have forgotten about. Yay
TO DO 5 more minutes on work task MBCT Wash 1 dish 5 minutes work task EFPC - would love to get this wrapped up today!

seahorse - me too. One thing at a time, that's the only way to do it. My trick, when it's really bad, is to allow myself to watch tv, but I have to get up and do something during the ads. PUPA 5 minutes. Started dishes soaking. Had meds, and made bed. Order gifts. Finish the weekly cleaning.
Run Roomba in living room. Take daughter to optometrist. Print a list at Office Depot. Return books to library. Wash dishes. Get dressed.
