I think my brain needs the hard drive or motherboard replaced. The first piece of evidence is that I fell in the parking lot. It probably had something to do with walking too fast in flip-flops while thinking about things. I think there was a bit of unexpected friction involved. I went down hard and hit my hip--the real one, not the artificial one, so I'm grateful for that and that the asphalt was old instead of fresh, it was not too hot, and was only a little rough. The second piece of evidence is that after taking my daughter to the optometrist, I went to the library to return books and saw that they weren't in the car. When I got home, they weren't there, either. Then I suddenly remembered that I'd returned them before I picked up my daughter. Changed my mind about the brain treatment. Gonna shut it down with a short rest. Returned books to library. Took daughter to appointment. Gassed up the car. Printed a list and proof of car insurance cards at Office Depot. Returned home, inspected pants for damage (abrasion at the knee), washed abraded hands, iced hip. Put away case of seltzer that had been in car for a few days (found while searching for books). Car is the only thing I own that is not messy. Just forgot I'd left the case there. Order gifts. Finish the weekly cleaning.
Run Roomba in living room. Tomorrow: grocery shop. Tomorrow: mow lawn.

Thanks, gaylem. My bone density was fine when it was tested a few years ago. I'm feeling fine, and actually have no sign of bruises. However, it is bothersome that I fell at all. I suppose I should not wear flip-flops on rushed, busy days. But I don't know what else to plan for or change. Maybe make a point of picking up my feet a bit more when walking? Cleaned toilet. Talked to Mom. Car: checked oil (OK), and realized I'm out of windshield washer fluid. Order gifts. Finish the weekly cleaning.
Run Roomba in living room. Tomorrow: grocery shop, incl. windshield fluid. Tomorrow: mow lawn.

Hi all! Hope you are all well. seahorse Do you mind lying me what NPGR means? I am impressed that you used the time that the laptop was re-starting to do something productive I would probably have sat and stared at it! I don’t start work today until mid afternoon so going to try and get a few actions done this morning. 1. Sort and put away bag of stuff I took out of my car. 2. Go to shop and buy co-wash. 3. Go to storage unit and pick up eBay orders. 1.put a load of laundry in the machine. 2. Take dry clothes off of the airer and hang up in wardrobe. 3. Put dishwasher on to run.

seahorse thanks for letting me know, It always takes me a while to work out acronyms. I think I have worked out PUPA as Pick up put away but I couldn’t work out yours, which makes sense if it is a work project code. I hope your busy day ahead goes smoothly. goldenthreads I’m sorry to hear about your fall, I unfortunately often fall or slip over often ( probably at least twice a year) usually it is when my mind is on other things or I am rushing. It is never nice but it seems like you have no long term damage which is good news.

Good morning seahorse and @glebe Gets Serious!!! I'm impressed you worked out PUPA - I had to ask! goldenthreads, I hope you're not too stiff and bruised this morning. When my mum started falling, she had something I can't remember the name of, but the hairs in her ears had stopped working and so her body was struggling with balance. BUT she had a lot of issues with outdoor spaces where the path wasn't flat - it was sloped for drainage. Her body would get confused because her eyes thought it was flat, but her feet knew it wasn't. Sorry - long story - what I meant to say was, even though it looked like you tripped over nothing, you might not have. Anyway - my successful day yesterday made me feel a bit better, so I'm using that energy today! 1. Email 2. Customer Service 3. Calendar
