Hello friends! So I often find the Working in Threes™/ WIT's threads my favorite, but I've been having an extra hard time attending to my home so I'll be joining a July Cleaning Thread™ instead/ as well. I also think I want to finally try the Dice Game™!
I did a search (which is tricky on my phone, in the event you can find it fine) and I couldn't see anything explaining the Dice Game rules.
Can we create a sticky for the Dice Game rules, or if one already exists can someone direct me to that post?
Thank you so much and please remember to hydrate, appreciate yourself and how wonderful you are, and try your best.

Oh, I love the dice game! It would be nice if there was a revived dice game thread. I play sometimes on the work-along thread but it's been a while.
Oxen, you can play however you want, you can make a list of regular tasks, or of procrastinated tasks and then roll to tell you what to do next. Sometimes I used to just make a list of rooms and roll the dice to tell me which room to spend 10 minutes in next. Or even roll the dice to tell me how many minutes to spend on something or how many items to put away in a room.
I always prefer a thread where other people are working, but you can work by yourself too.

You can adjust the rules to what works for you. I had been a regular here but was sidetracked for a while and am trying to get some good habits started again. One of my favorite ways to play was to make a list of 20 or so tasks, and pretend I'm going around a board game. Larger tasks could be broken down into smaller tasks, for example instead of "clean out the refrigerator", if your fridge is in bad shape, just one shelf of the fridge would do. I usually add activities that are not cleaning too, like go for a walk, or work on a craft for 15-30 minutes, so that it isn't just a list of dreaded tasks. Sometimes, like Diane suggested, I just would list rooms to work in for 5-15 minutes.
