ππβ¨π¦
Hi again friends. I have been tapping into some motivation lately, which is great. It's slow going but as we all know, "crisis cleaning" is not sustainable. Thankfully I do have the time to plod along (I do not have any cleaning deadlines per se).
π
TA-DA: *I am slowly doing this 'n' that with the bathroom mess.
*I did a general sort of some papers, which is always stressful for me. I was tempted not to give myself credit for this because "it's far from done" - can you believe that?!
DO NOT ROB YOURSELF OF CREDIT FOR ANY TO-DOS YOU DO DO. ππ₯°
*I put away most of the dry dishes.
*I put more storage items neatly under my bed. The space is starting to open up...
*I made an important phone call, left a message.
πTO-DO: *Feed the fishes.
*Keep going along in the bathroom. Slow is OK!
*Clear off stove and countertop area, clean other fish tank.
*Tackle more paper sorting as time allows.
ππππ₯BUT I DO NEED A LIL' BREAK FIRST.π₯πππ

I was tempted not to give myself credit for this because "it's far from done" - can you believe that?! DO NOT ROB YOURSELF OF CREDIT FOR ANY TO-DOS YOU DO DO. ππ₯° Yes, going through papers is a lot different from most other household chores, and it's different from decluttering other types of things. I know the stress. Working on paper is my hardest job, and I bet we have in common most of the same reasons for finding it painfully challenging. Do give yourself credit! You can set a goal of going through a quarter of an inch of paper, or getting rid of anything obsolete from one pile, or cleaning up any strays on a kitchen counter. When you've done those, you can be "done" for the time period. Or have no goal at all, except to work on it for a little while and not ignore it. Good job today!

Hi goldernthreads.
Beautiful day here. Oh my, i love this time of year.
B got a Lyft home. He enjoyed the conversation with the driver! I enjoyed sleeping in. Win win.
The fridge has been a huge source of trouble over the years. It never clicked to tidy throw away and organize it. Its a work in progress, but i am looking at it daily and moving things around that we use.

Hi, oust! Yes, autumn is clearly the best season! We have a week of moderate temperatures. Hurray. Glad you got to sleep well. Hello, BetsyMarie. Every time I see that you've moved something from back to front or vice versa, I do a little cheer for your cleared path. It is dark outside, and pouring rain. Thrilled! Did stretches. Got dressed. Made a rough schedule for today, because it's crunch time for some tasks. Lent car to daughter, and arranged a weekend get-together. Made bed and had meds. Started dishes soaking.

Put hot water, baking soda, and vinegar in the pan with the burned oil. I'll figure out how to fix it later. Took out recycling. Put away dishes. Work on Project RT. Work onΒ Project G. Both vinegar and baking soda are quite underrated with how great they are for cleaning and various household tasks. I use both often now.

ββββββββββ TA-DA: *I attended to the fishes. I'm actually bringing them over to my friend's house this weekend. She will care for them for me when I am in the hospital (under two weeks from now). So I'll actually just tackle the second tank's deep cleaning once it's empty. Win/ win because fish don't like being disturbed too much, so he'll get a nice clean travel aquarium when I set him up at my friend's place.
*I am creeping along with the bathroom chores. π’
*I am creeping along with the stove/ countertop chore. π’
*I did tackle more paperwork but not much, though I do need to leave it be until after the hospital. I actually opened my incoming mail today so that was a definite win. I must buy a paper shredder, which is always bumped down the list for more critical purchases.
*Bright and early today I tackled a massively important business task! Unfortunately it seems I have to now wait on a response, but it felt good to do my best with what I was given this morning.
*I took out a bit of recycling.
TO-DO: *Keep attending to the bathroom, and the stove/ countertop.
*Do other things that need my attention! ππππππππππ

Your friend and comrade 'oxen' continues her night owl habits. π¦
πTA-DA:ππππππ *I managed to clear off the stove area! There's more to do for the surrounding countertops but this is great progress.
*I set aside some things I will need in the hospital.
*I gathered some important and beloved like items.
πTO-DO:ππππππ *Keep going with the countertops. πͺ Sanitize stove area (should be quick 'n' easy).
*Keep attending to the bathroom (slowly but surely)!
*Take meds, other smaller tasks. GIVE MYSELF CREDIT FOR THESE. π
