Well I just ran to the local charity shop where I MIGHT have donated the pants. No luck. If I donated them to the city mission, I am writing it off as a loss. No idea where they might have ended up - they have such a huge warehouse. they have a dress for success type clothing room for those working through programs at the mission,. They have at least one storefront - maybe two. Done and over and out of my head. (hopefully out of my head - I hate rerunning things through my head)
My husband's uncle's funeral is Monday right when I have to take my dad to his Dr appt. The military cemetery must be very busy as you are given no choice in a time for a funeral. You are told to be there 1/2 before (late not admitted). You are given 1/2 hr for your service/taps/flag folding then out for the next one. The family wanted friday - they were told monday morning or nothing. So I guess we have the weekend to get a new suit.
Last night I went into the kitchen and tossed even more stuff. I had a box of fancy choc chip type things that I was saving to make choc chip cookies. I figured choc chips cant go bad. Well I just decided I was tired of looking at them - I mean really, when am I going to make cookies? I need the valuable real estate on the kitchen island more than I need the cookies!! Out they went - and the box was collapsed and tossed in the recycle bin as well. That felt great.
I need to target more to toss!

Good morning ohblondie, I'm glad to see you're still in tossing mode!
I took the dog out to the yard, I was going to bring the cans to the street too but I was just too hot after washing out the birdbath/water bowl. I will go back out after lunch to put the cans to the street.
One more list before lunch.

Hello scholar!
Golden, thanks for that article, it is exactly the way I feel. I notice that the article says what my pollinator books say, do whatever you can to show that you're growing the plants intentionally and taking care of them. One book says to put a bench or some statues amongst the plants. And I've seen those signs that try to explain what you're trying to do by planting certain plants.
You would think this village would be educated because the pollinator guy works with various public buildings besides the library to put some native plants around the properties. It would really be nice to see a village wide effort at education--if I were younger and healthier this is something I would like to get involved in.
I got another long-ish call from my shopping friend, she needed help checking out some things online, and making a purchase. She will have computer access at some point, but I don't know when they will get around to getting her computer hooked up. It's been many years since she tried to have internet access at home, so I warned her that she will need to update all her software. But it will be nice for her to be able to do her own online shopping.
After the call I took the dog out again--it was kind of cloudy so it wasn't as hot. The most recent radar picture shows a tiny line of rain that might or might not hit us later tonight. It doesn't look major though, so, still no good rain.
I also went down to the basement to get the dry laundry, so that load is done but not yet put away.

Hi! I’m Deb. I am dealing with depression but I need to make a start on my disgusting bedroom. I will start by picking up 20 things and see where that leads. Music first! 🎶

Hello Deb! You have the right idea, small steps at a time, eventually things will get done. And music is very motivating, what kind are you listening to?
I'm eating dinner now, which pretty much means I'm done for the day. It looks like it's starting to cool off outside, so hopefully we will have a nice night.
Good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Yay Deb! What a great start.
Made dinner for DH. Now to go clean up. I am tired and ready for bed.... Fresh bottle of water by the bed to drink. I have a nice new water bottle from the fair earlier in the month. Goal is to keep it full of fresh water at all times.
Good night everyone!
