you, too missjean Upstairs furnace is set 60°. Took an arm load of summer clothes up, and to set furnace. Thermostat stuck. Pulled off wall, 2 batteries. Back down, took a folding bin of crapola up and batteries, replaced batteries. Library had a rolling folding crate with a couple of to be detail dusted things in it. (months) dusted them. One new to me sewing kit. Put my knitting socks in it, by my chair. Previously knitting was in a small pillowcase, tossed on couch. Other is a small soft briefcase, used to keep it next to my spot in living room, with odds ends i use regularly. Thats how it got so dusty, 7 years in the rental house. Washing jeans/pjs/pantyhose. Forgot to wash the pantyhose last weekend with the dark skirts. Made bed Gathered all trash

Get rid of this avatar. It was a well-intentioned gift, but it looks nothing like me. Well, I've just started my morning watching a couple of wiener dog races, which I'd never heard of. Maybe not a great use of time, but I keep smiling, so a good start after all. Thanks for the recipe, mouseanne. Back when there's something to report...

goldenthreads, Weiner dog racing sounds like it might be fun to watch. We need some fun in our lives! I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done today. It's a cold, cloudy, snowy day, and I'm not feeling very motivated. ta-da's: Emptied the dishwasher and ate breakfast a few hours ago. Started a load of laundry and am eating some lunch now. Hung a birdfeeder outside of my window (I usually do this all winter nearly every winter, but have been quite negligent this winter) That's about it. to-do: Continue with the laundry Make my way out to the chicken coop. They need to be fed and eggs need to be collected, but this can wait for a few hours Snow shoveling? I might wait until tomorrow. It will be warm and sunny then. I might just take it easy and work on hobbies today or do some baking/food prep. I need to do house plant maintenance. I have a few things that need to be repotted. I purchased an Aerogarden (actually 2) a few months ago. The first one needs to be cleaned and replanted. I'm still experimenting with these. I wouldn't necessarily recommend them. If you do the math, it makes for some very expensive lettuce and herbs. I am starting to plant some Swiss chard in recycled pods. We will see how this goes. It could eventually pay for itself if my experiment works out.

razy I hardly ever get truly sick. It's just that every once in a while, I have a problem that lasts a day, and then I feel as if I need to make excuses for doing even less than normal. I'm fine again today! Ally I'll be interested to hear any updates on your Aerogarden experimenting. Those things are way too expensive for me. The set-up looks nice, though. Maybe I could find my own tiny lighting rig and do something on my own. We have plenty of grow shops around here. (Years ago, I couldn't figure out why the sudden interest in hydroponics here until I remembered marijuana. Yep, that must be it.) Did stretches. Made bed and had meds. Refilled pill minder. Get dressed. Go for a walk. PUPA 5 minutes.

Showered, dressed Fried eggs, toast Rewashed pjs Inhalers
This week, started tidying/clearing piled bar table in dining room. Got down to wood. So, there's these 2 hobby lobby 5x7 frames and 2 matted watercolors I bought at a shop at silver dollar city, hmmmm, fall 2018? It didnt all fit. The frames were, of course, for photos. The mat and watercolor paper, it wouldnt all fit, too thick. Trimmed the easel groove lip off. Polished the glass. Got out the pic hang bits. Drilled start holes, put in little eyes, a couple brads, added wire to hang. Drilled wall start holes, hung hooks, hung them in the dining room.
ETE the supplies and tools.
Table nearly clear.

goldenthreads the first aerogarden I bought was during the time of pre-Christmas sales. Within a few weeks, I was harvesting a few small lettuce leaves a few days and snipping herbs from time to time. I bought the second unit used through facebook marketplace about a month later. It was half the price of a new unit, and looks like it might have been used once. Now that the lettuce is 2 months old, I'm just harvesting the whole plant. I bought some peat spongy things on ebay to put in the pods that I pulled the lettuce out of. I eat an egg omelet most mornings, and like to add some greens like spinach, kale or chard, so I bought a packet of swiss chard seeds and am going to try it out. I planted one pod about a week ago, and that has sprouted. I harvested 2 more heads of leaf lettuce this week, and planted chard in those pods. I'm going to see if I can move the herbs to regular pots, and use those pods for chard. (I have attempted to grow chard on a windowsill several years ago, and it was disappointing. We'll see if this works better.)

Thanks very much for explaining how you're doing the indoor plant growing, Ally . Paid two bills. PUPA 5 minutes, including unpacking. Washed dishes. Get dressed. Go for a walk. Mail one bill.
