WELCOME TO WITing! HAPPY MARCH! It's going to be a GREAT one! The guidelines for WIT are simple: - Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. ☝️ - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing. - Once you have 3 things done, post them here! - Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again. - You aren't required to do the 3 things you had planned on -- just get any 3 things done and then post proudly. Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, or just need to break your tasks down into something manageable, you are in the right place! If the next 15 minutes consists of: - Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying 😢 - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away book 📚 - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash . . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE-DOM !!! You could post: Ta-Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers Then your To-Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away. Whether you do those 3 to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post. Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da! If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you. Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM!

Ya'll crack me up. Tues TaDa, 5 stars Hung the clipboard, with March habit sticker chart Yes, probably made it too complicated Put a tiny dish in bureau drawer, with gold adhesive stars in it Yes, I've had these since before there were such a thing as stickers, chuckle if you want, i am Cleared a spot on the bar table Put pocket chart on it Made/put task cards in the pocket Put away the red/purple washer load Washed pastels, placed in dryer to dry later A neighbor loves kittens, then when they get older, he puts them outside. Lots of cats around. So, I'm purging the freezer. The freezer burnt chicken last week, i tossed over my porch railing, about 5 times. Then, there was this bean & rice dish i made a massive amount of, but didnt like. Froze it into packets. Dug 2 corning plates out of donation for cat food. Thaw it on one plate, put it on the other plate, up next to fence shared with neighbor. After the beans, theres a year old turkey in the old laundry freezer. Wed TaDa Dry hang/fold put pastels

Tues TaDa, 5 stars Hung the clipboard, with March habit sticker chart Yes, probably made it too complicated Put a tiny dish in bureau drawer, with gold adhesive stars in it I think it was my first grade teacher who used sticker charts on the wall. I loved the shiny stars, and craved having them after my name. But more than that, I really wanted my own stickers at home. Never happened. Owning them as an adult is a treat. I, too, use stickers when I'm working on habits. It's visible recognition for my efforts. Congratulations on the five-star day. Your system sounds convenient, not complicated. Hope your evening was relaxing, razy. Weighed self and took BP. Looking better. Feeling a little stronger, too. Started dishes soaking. Made bed and had meds. Do stretches. Get dressed. Finish grocery list. Do the thing that stops a lot of junk mail. Go to pharmacy (script + disposal), bank, and grocery store.

doodles Some things are trios all by themselves! I know what you mean. Hi, yrwelcome! You and my new March habit (clean something every day) have reminded me that actual water on the kitchen floor would be a very good thing. Washed dishes. Ran Roomba in the kitchen. There was a shocking amount of dirt picked up; hardly any hair or crumbs, though. Time to remember to remove shoes when returning from walks and errands. Bathed and got dressed. Do stretches. Finish grocery list. Do 2 of the weekly cleaning tasks. Do the thing that stops a lot of junk mail. Go to pharmacy (script + disposal), bank, and grocery store.

Finish grocery list. Do 2 of the weekly cleaning tasks. Do the thing that stops a lot of junk mail. Go to the grocery store. Tomorrow: Go to pharmacy (scripts + disposal), and bank.
