seahorse, how nice that you have friends who accept you as you are! Enjoy! The 2 hosts of that podcast are very sweet and compassionate. He played Jack on Will and Grace Probably any episode is worth listening to. I am fond of so many podcasts that I can’t keep up with all of them! Sorry about the granola mishap, goldenthreads. I am now remembering why I stopped making granola! . More jungle maintenance. Digging up blackberries. Little bit of dog grooming. Put together shelves in bedroom. Cleaned up and dressed for dinner. Have a little gift for the host. Clipped nails. Took meds and fish oil. I’ll stop for gas on the way there. I hope to be back later for at least a few more chores!

Good morning, mouseanne . I hope your short sleep on the wrong furniture means you'll sleep well tonight. You got a lot done early in the morning, though! Daughter is coming today to help me work on boxes. I want to preempt her on some of it, so I should get in several hours of plowing through before she gets here. Another possibility is to get other easier boxes from storage. Started soaking some pillow covers. I took them off to wash over a year ago. Started dishes soaking. Ran Roomba in kitchen. Made bed and had meds. PUPA 5 minutes. Washed dishes. Finish washing the pillow covers.Run Roomba in living room. Declutter 10 things. Do stretches.Get dressed.Work on box #1. Work on box #2. Tonight: Make bread. Do some weeding.

Sorry about your dish, mouseanne. I get the sadness. Good morning, goldenthreads.
Dressed. Made coffee. Hung up laundry. Started new load. Cooking beets and potatoes. Oops. Forgot the cabbage. My emotions hurt today. So much shame. Going to listen to a meditation.

Well, my "several hours" of work is now down to a remaining 2.5 before she arrives--let's see how I do after all that productive procrastination. In an effort to focus, I've set up six periods to address different things, with alarms set for each period. Took out trash and recycling; checked yesterday's plantings and they look fine.Put away dishes. Straightened up the bathroom a little. this afternoon Run Roomba in living room. Work on box #1.Work on box #2. Declutter 10 things. (This is going to be redundant as I go through the boxes.) tonight Tonight: Make bread. Do some weeding. Go for a walk.

Worked on box #1 for an hour. Regrets on ignoring this for years decades. I have decluttered many, many, many papers. Will this be the push I need to get all statements online instead? Maybe. Made a plan and physical set-up for when daughter gets here. She just texted me she'll be later than planned. I mean to say--how very disappointing. She is very focused and determined, and I want her help, but it's stressful with the difference in personalities and stamina. this afternoon Run Roomba in living room. Work on box #2. tonight Make bread. Do some weeding. Go for a walk.

Thanks, goldenthreads. Thanks about the dish, grasshopper. I feel for you and hope you feel better. Found the first letter Ready to hop in shower, remembered i wanted a particular basement box. Cuz of spiders/webs i always feel like i need a shower after ive been down there, so i went down before my shower. Could not find the box. It was early, and only small bit of daylight was sifting in. None of the lights would come on. The basement room with the breaker box is an inside room, no window, also no light fixture. Need a flashlight to ck the breakers. I brought up 2 dif boxes. Next time i go down, i'll take bulbs and a flashlight/torch. Wrote and mailed 2nd letter. Went to eye doc. Even tho my glasses are 4 or 5 yrs old, he said new ones wouldnt help. I'm 65, they call them "young persons cataracts". As opposed to pushing 80, i guess. Anyway, he just diagnosed a 2nd type of fast growing cataracts. Immediate surgery required, otherwise blind within a year. He was very optimistic. He's already talked to my ophthalmologist, who agrees i need surgery. That dr told me in december, when he lasered my retinal tears, absolutely no cataract surgery, my retinas are too fragile. This 2nd type cataract is a bigger threat than fragile retinas, i guess. Bother!

Oh dear, mouseanne. I’m sorry that’s happening. How stressful. On the other hand, I think you get brand new lenses in your eyes. You might not need glasses anymore. Does immediate mean next week? Digging up root balls. THAT also counts as exercise! Drinking water. Next is a walk to the store for drano.

I'm finally getting a handle on the old financial papers. Most should probably will be shredded over the next couple of months. Just being physically and mentally tired from handling all of this made me grow impatient with the stuff and my wish to hang onto it. oust Hurray! It's great what we can do when we work on one area, isn't it? grasshopper Digging always counts as exercise, no matter the type or duration. 👍 It's surprising to me all the different muscle groups that get used. mouseanne All my best wishes to you for the repair of your eyes. Eye surgery has come a long way in the last couple of decades, I believe, including the trickier types. Worked on box #2. Worked with daughter for an hour +. (She was lovely.) Worked with her another hour +. (She remained lovely. So did I--I just went slower and slower.)
Run Roomba in living room. Make bread. Do some weeding. Go for a walk.

I’m so glad to hear that you and your daughter got along so well even in the very stressful experience of de-cluttering. Good for you both!!
Walked pooch. Got drano. Talked to mom.
