Thanks, phoenixcat. I’m feeling better mood wise and my foot feels better too! oust, I had a thought. Stress of moving maybe causing buying spree. Stocking up to relieve a sense of insecurity around recent unstable housing? I’m a loony, but whenever I move it takes me weeks if not months to feel comfortable in new surroundings. Anyway, I hope it is non-perishable! At least it’s not useless stuff off the Home Access Channel! Sad to hear about increasing food prices, notanotherdecade! Maybe it’s time to do calorie restriction diet! (Just kidding. Not gonna happen). Put on your party hats 🥳 Soaked foot in salt water. Journaled Set alarm for 15 min and kitchened away Repeated alarm. Cut up beets and started cooking. Started sorting piles in LR.

Grasshopper, i think you nailed it with your evaluation! Notanotherdecade, that could be a part of it too. He is very happy with cooking up a big pot of chilli tonight saying how much we are saving by not eating out. He bought 12 chilli powder mixes, so you're right about it being a stock up of long term things. I think honestly we have been on a bit of a eating out binge because of the move but its much more expensive to eat out even though we did enjoy for a while.
I rested for 6 hours after work today and needed 3 ibroprofen. Up now even though its the middle of the night and i just did a big cleanup of the kitchen as it had been destroyed. I plugged in the floor steamer and cleaned it up nicely after doing the dishes and counters and stove.
Grasshopper i am glad your foot is starting to feel better. Good to see you razy, Cando, golden seems like the whole gang is here this weekend.

30 min Working on moving paper piles(actively working on them-slowly, but still!) from LR to back room. I’m reluctant to do this as it is too easy to avoid them, but friend invited herself over. Rats. Looked for work email. About 10 min.

oust I agree - I think it is pretty natural to want to do more at home when you have had a recent outlay of a lot of money due to the move and eating out. Plus it sounds like there are some financial "unknowns" regarding utility cost, etc. at your new place. Hopefully all of his purchases are for you both to kind of snuggle in for the winter with lots of good chili eating! 1) assemble and bake pie 2) mix cookie dough 3) laundry switch First time I made a dutch apple pie. I used what our neighbor thinks is Jonathan apples - not really a supermarket apple - more like a homegrown type. DH ate two pieces Bonus - made supper and cleaned up after myself. This morning: 1) start linen laundry 2) put away all clothes from yesterday 3) organize three more things to go bye bye

I will be in and out a lot today, and gone a lot of Monday or Tuesday. phoenixcat You reminded me that I had clothes to put away. Other people's lists can be very useful! grasshopper Good luck preserving those working paper piles in the room transfer. Glad a friend is going to visit. Yesterday: Got a start on the week's meals by cooking a pot of rice. This morning: Started dishes soaking. Put away laundry. Shower and get dressed. Do stretches.
Late afternoon/evening
Redo the end table so that it has an actual function or two. Figure out how to make a claim with Ikea for damaged goods. Give doctor some info.
