Saturday morning I'm mentally shot. I feel like I'm working scatterbrained. I don't want a listilla but I can't figure out what to do next. I've been reading in grasshoppers depression thread. I'm upset because of new things happening in my house. I'm allowing myself to grieve but I have to not be angry. Up Coffee Dusted headboard & picture frame abpve bed Cleared dresser Cleared bed Stripped bed Washed mattress pad Drying mattress pad Restarted coffee pot water only for hot chocolate Went thru some scrapbooking cardstock, picked out ugly colors to run thru die cutter for hexi cards Dress et al Eye drops Inhalers Weigh self Stick something in washer Fill dishpan Check living room floor for a seam ripper Baggies to living room for buttons Fun stuff, cut hexi white fabric & cards

Hugs to you, mouseanne - I commiserate. phoenixcat if you can deal with cat puke, you are braver than I! TA-DAH 1. Put away dry dishes from last weekend 2. Washed the accumulated dishes, vessels, and utensils of the week 3. Showered and dressed 4. Opened ALL the window blinds 5. Gathered clothes from floor-piles into one place 6. Put late-expiry canned food into linen closet I slept in late but poorly because I had a dream about that Young Me (circa '90s) was angry at me for not achieving our goals. She had the receipts, obviously. So even when I got out of bed, I was in a blue funk. Also, today was supposed to be yardwork day, but the neighbors are burning leaves and the smoke is heavy in my backyard. TO DO 1. Put away dry clothes that are in a heap on the washer (Why? I don't remember putting them there.) 2. Start a load of dark laundry 3. Put away the clean summer-weight bedclothes that are in a heap on the guestroom bed

Thank you so much for qll the commiserations! Yea, it was pwd in the surgery eye. Still blinky.
Went upstairs to die cutter Cut 2 yds white, cut it into hexi for my hand stitchjng grandmother's flower garden quilt (google that if curious/want to know)
Cut some cardboard hexi, n9w that i look at the baggie, it doesn't look like very many. Felt like a bunch when i d8d it.
Brougyt down a couple of seam rippers. One for the hexi-unstitching mistakes, another for button removal on fut up mens 2nd hand shirts for quiltjng fabric.

seahorse I love that you give yourself 5-minute tasks and yoga, too. yrwelcome your description of candles and music sounds lovely. Enjoy! The smoke is dissipating, but I'm entrenched in house-tasks and have to start supper soon. Maybe tomorrow for the garden? 1. Put away dry clothes that are in a heap on the washer (Why? I don't remember putting them there.) 2. Started a load of dark laundry 3. I tidied the summer-weight bedclothes that were heaped on the guestroom bed, but I need to make a good clear space on the shelf. 4. Put away some shoes 5. Dried some cups and lunch containers 6. Put away summer stuff: door plaque, windchime, etc. 1. Put clothes in dryer 2. Fed the recycling bin 3. Had a snack TO DO 1. Sort out foodstuffs I'm using for this week's lunches. 2. Freeze the homemade soup in containers 3. Clean pot and pan
