1) Laundry switch 2) Finish DM's old room which is A) repurpose the top sheet to a dust ruffle to hide all the stuff under the bed B) move two small dressers C) move three bins in the doorway to the basement (DH will help - they are heavy!) D) move out chair that belongs to the office E) move in DM's other lift chair freeing up space in my family room F) move around one other small furniture item - may move to another room - child's school desk Actually had a bedspread made by my grandmother for my parents when they were first married that made the perfect dust ruffle It was just sitting on a chair in our room to keep it away from the cats - looks great on the bed that my parents had as part of their first bedroom set. Room looks a lot warmer. Next: 1) Finish the sort out of the other guest room including A) put away the rest of the toilet paper I unpacked B) pack and label the box to my cousin - move to my vehicle C) put away all the renovation choices except the ones I'm actually using - move those to our bedroom D) bin up all of my baking supplies from DM and move to the pantry cupboard (think I have room on the floor in the back) - 100s of cookie cutters, rosette irons, spritz press, etc. E) put away a few more items that do not belong in there 2) start washing the linens from that room

Also found DM's Swedish sand tart molds - Swedes take their Christmas cookies seriously . Found items given to us 6 weeks ago - some was for Halloween decor - oops Bonus: emptied out a bunch of containers and put in recycling. Next: 1) break down all the remaining boxes and put in recycling 2) get a kitchen bag of DH's shower products from the garage and either rinse and put in recycling or throw away. Our recycling has gotten really limited. 3) box up the stuff on the floor in our closet and get a bag gathered of dry cleaning recycling - hangers and plastic bags Not sure where the energy is being generated but will ride the train while I can

That's a powerful train you're riding, phoenixcat ! razy It's fun to think about your spring activities as I do leaf raking and other autumn things. mouseanne Sounds like kitchen, laundry, and remembering to eat are moving right along! seahorse Good job getting and keeping things neat while away. (I have sometimes thought that my mother had an "easy" job of cleaning because she doesn't have too much stuff! She cheats! ) PUPA 5 minutes. Raked leaves for 15 minutes, and filled the green bin. Started a load of wash; a chocolate spatter told me which group to do next. Work on boxes.

Our recycling has gotten really limited. 3) box up the stuff on the floor in our closet and get a bag gathered of dry cleaning recycling - hangers and plastic bags Counters are all full again with the stuff that was in the boxes . Suffice to say they all weren't empty. And, I smell like men's shower wash from the rinsing of the bottles. . Bonus - held a cat and watched church services. Wasn't expecting DM to be in them so had to cry as well. Last load from the guest bedroom is in the washer and that is it for me until next weekend! Cats refuse to get off of the various pieces of furniture I brought out from DM's room. Next: 1) Clear off the counters again with all the stuff I added 2) PEEP family room 3) PEEP hallways and walkways of the various things I moved around. This might be it for the evening. Need to figure out supper. Worked hard all day so not too anxious to do much.

Transferred notes to myself to a master list (on computer) of mini-tasks to do when I need an easy win. Transferred clothes to dryer and rack. Moved 8/10 boxes where I can see them and get going on them again. Work on boxes.

DH put out THREE street bins for pick-up tomorrow! I had leftover butternut squash soup for supper. Good, healthy and easy. Only thing left to do (actually a lot left to do but the only thing I'm planning on doing) is putting the last load in the dryer before I go to bed. If I don't check in - have a good first week of November and probably will see you next weekend.

I need to get myself ready to help hand out candy and/or drive around.
DONE: asked DVD to turn on the furnace took pic and measurements and sent to DM told DVD about too long box spring--will probably take to DPs
