Wow, I guess being closed for three days was hard for people to deal with.
Just about time to get ready for bed--good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Morning, womble and everyone! Great list, womble! I tried to find the Working in Threes thread and didn't see it, so will post my first "threes" here: TA DA: Got up before it was light out. Took morning med #1. Ate English muffin. TO DO: Put blanket in dryer. Wash bedspread/top blanket Bring clean sheets upstairs. I posted this elsewhere but need it here as well: ONGOING TO DOs TODAY: Stay focused. Stay calm. Try not to get overly anxious as I prepare for our first Airbnb guest since 2018, who is arriving this afternoon. Donβt get derailed into doing odd, microscopic cleaning and organizing tasks. Minimize distractions. Be kind to myself and others.

Good Wednesday!
A rainy one here
Last night we thankfully had leftovers for dinner I took puppy on an hour-long walk in the dark drizzle. So grateful it was in the 40s F so no ice worries
Also did a bit of paper sorting, shredding recycling
Paid a bill I hope is not late. It was due yesterday but I might have been a few minutes over the specific time it was due by
Today I am up, fed animals Put away clean dishes Packed lunch
Need to quickly get ready and head in
This is a challenging day! Six months ago I apparently made a dentist check up for DD. Postcard reminder arrived At some other time September? I apparently a hair appointment for me! And it is book club night
So I have to leave work early - last minute time off request- get DD to dentist, zip her home, rush to hair, then possibly get to book club for maybe aN hour. If I get better track of my time thus would not have happened. Going to book club should be fun snd social nit a chore to fit in. Snd why I made any appointments on this reentry week I donβt know. Feeling annoyed and overwhelmed!

DH and I have this code phrase: "Tiny Victory/ies" for anything, either tiny, or not so tiny.
I just found all the pieces to the high chair my DS and DBiL gave us.
It is now set up in the kitchen for our new DGD. Yay!

Yay for tiny victories.
I have a sedation hang over and am going to allow myself to willy nilly pick things to do or not do today...except meds...must do meds!

Good morning womble, CP, bree and PS!
CP, exciting to have a guest again, I have a friend that has done Airbnb for years, she has guests constantly, she has a perfect personality for it, whereas I am horrified by the thought of a stranger staying with me! She seems to get mostly delightful guests, she always has interesting stories about where they came from and why they're here.
My streak of good sleep nights was broken last night because the dog needed to go out at midnight, it took 2 hours to fall back to sleep, so I slept past my alarm this morning. I've been watching the weather for snow because I wanted to go shopping before there was any more snow fall, and now suddenly this morning they're saying snow showers overnight and tomorrow morning. Hopefully that doesn't mean much, maybe I'll try to shop tomorrow morning before whatever falls freezes into ruts so that I can't pull my cart over it. The main issue has become water again, I'm afraid to bring 2 cases home at a time in my cart, I'm afraid of damaging the cart.
I want to get a start on challenge projects today, I also owe a couple of cards and letters. Hopefully I won't get caught up in cable news again, because this is a phone call day.

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Diane! I don't have the personality for it, just the desire to try to reduce debt. I started renting rooms in 1996, initially for my first mortgaged property (a tiny basement flat in London) to a student at my university (not one in my major so as to assuage any conflicts of interest). I have had far, far more good experiences than not so good. : )

Hello all! Thanks for the tips with the toiletries. Peaceseeker I like your point about paying to move something. I've been forced to admit recently that I did pay to move far too much stuff when we bought this house that I'm now throwing out (cleaning out the kitchen cupboard last week was a sobering process!). Today I was also trying to persuade myself that with local shops, access to a car and various delivery services, I can have most things that I need quite easily so letting myself go of the "essentials" I tend to stockpile out of fear of running out unexpectedly. Diane - I too like citrus smells! I bought a new and more expensive kitchen spray cleaner purely because it was orange scented. Luckily it has proven to be very effective on greasy stains, and I really love the smell so it feels like a treat. The scent we use the most is a soap scent called "milk and honey" - not that I associate either of those with strong scents - which I got not long after I started dating boyfriend many years ago, and he started buying it and using it because it reminded him of me. What a little romantic!
Done: - I spent 1 hour 20 on the master bathroom so far today. I only stopped when I did because I heard boyfriend dealing with the grocery delivery downstairs - I hadn't even heard the door go, and when I heard him talking to the driver, I was entirely hemmed in with a fort of various baskets and packets and boxes. - Emptied both bathroom bins. I'm not entirely sure why we have two, I will see if there is somewhere else in the house we could use the one I like least and perhaps look at getting rid of it if not. - Wiped down both bathroom bins and a series of baskets and boxes - Cleaned up - Threw out old bathroom scales since I have a really good new set in the en suite that I actually use - Gave myself amnesty on sunscreen - I've not been on vacation since 2016 and the fact I had two bottles suggested at least one was older than that. I can always buy some more if I need it. - Filled a bag of trash - Finally saw the windowsill again after having things piled on it since we moved in. Annoyingly, there now seems to be some mold on the bottom of the window as a result, so that is something I will have to deal with
To do: - Organise baskets into the bathroom storage unit - Go through two storage boxes - Go through big makeup bag and big travel toiletries bag - Aim to throw out big makeup bag due to busted zip - Organise area around the bath - Throw out the brush head that has been in the bathroom since the summer we moved in without being used

Aww, that's sweet. I do admit that in my young and foolish years I bought a bottle of aftershave just so I could be reminded of a certain person...
Next:
Take dog out and feed her Take garbage can out to street 10 minutes on first floor Get step stool out and get things from top of bookshelf that I want to move elsewhere

I had lunch, took the dog out again, and also started reorganizing drawers in the kitchen downstairs, that's a challenge goal. Now it's time for my phone call.
