I think I am down to a 10 min rest/5 min work - working in ones type of morning start. To Do: 1. Eat Breakfast - so delicious DF/GF yogurt - review day/weekend (this will be a 30 minute day start)

Happy weekend everyone! Good luck for taking things at your own pace TML!
Done: Went through my casual trousers drawer and my work trousers drawer, evaluated and organised Threw out three of each Added three work trousers to a donate bag With bf's help, flipped a couple of drawers around so the one with the busted bottom is now the bottom drawer with a handful of sweaters that only get worn when it's really cold (though there is room to put away my Christmas sweaters....) Emptied bedroom trash

Good morning TML and reve!
Thanks for starting the thread, lennon!
TML, how are the cats doing?
TT, I'm glad you posted again last night, I was wondering how you were after that marathon of cleaning. I'm glad you were able to enjoy your guests--how long are they staying?
Today is a phone call day, this morning I'm going to try to do a little work on the back porch. Now that the shelves are put together and are sitting in the middle of the kitchen I would like to at least get things moved from where the shelves will go and put them out there.

Diane the cats are still separated and there is a plan being worked on for reintroduction. I am getting conflicting advice. The cat therapist says it needs to be slow and steady. Others say toss them together and let them have it out. I already paid for the slow and steady advice so that is what we are doing.
Next up: Getting boxes off front porch

Happy weekend! Thanks lennon for starting us off Hi Diane and TML. I think slow and steady is best approach for cats Tonight there is a birthday dinner- still need to get a gift! That errand and event will dictate my day So far fed animals Put away clean dishes Put stragglers to soak Puppy is still very subdued from her time at daycare so she sleeps on the loveseat. That gives me a peaceful morning. Time for coffee cup two I hear DD up which makes me wonder if I said she could take car. I totally forgot about need to get gift!

Good morning PS and TML!
TML, I don't see how throwing them together so there is another traumatic event would help erase a prior traumatic event. I vote for slow and steady.
TO DO:
10 minutes PEEPing 10 minutes on pile in hallway Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

Done: Laundry from machine to dryer Load of laundry 2 Bagged up clean laundry Achieved dining table zero Planning to try and tackle the little office area we have in our middle hallway today. It can become a bit of a dumping ground. There are Christmas gifts, clothes, a box of probably mostly expired shelf stable foods, a sewing machine I need to decide what to do with, and tons of paperwork there. I want to at least try and tackle a few of those things and put them in more sensible places. I've asked the boyfriend to move a chair for me (the office chair that belongs there is currently in the spare room to help me tackle things there!) so I can work more easily. On the plus side, I gazed at my much cleaner and tidier master bathroom earlier and couldn't believe it was the same space. It was never really really bad, but there's just so much less visual clutter now. Walking into my kitchen after last night's work around the sink still gives me a jolt of "wow that's nice!" and the boyfriend was very complimentary when he came down to make brunch this morning. I'm trying to hold on to those feelings of how pleasant it is when things are decluttered, clear and clean.

So I did tell DD she could take car but it should work out but not ideal, poor planning on my part
I did the dishes Started a load of laundry Made second cup Texted a friend Dealt w mail
I am so grateful that girlcat had her nails trimmed. Very needed trying to set up a monthly schedule with the mobile groomer.
I am worried about girlcat she will be 19 shortly and she is bellowing more and more. She also wants to be with me more, sweet kitten.

Reve, isn't it nice to walk into a room where you've been working and be struck by how nice something looks? It is motivating.
she will be 19 shortly and she is bellowing more and more.
Bree, I had that with my 21 year old, he would sometimes just stand in the middle of a room and make that noise. My best guess is brain function is starting to decline they lose track of where they are for a second. Or else, they want our attention and just don't have the energy to look around and see where we are. When I would come in the room and pick him up he would purr and be happy. Okay, now I'm starting to cry again.
Next:
10 minutes on hall pile Prep garbage and recycling to take outside Organize all the old food I'm finding for the outside birds, put in jars Delete 30 emails

Missed y'all the past week and read a bunch, but need to get caught up on yesterday, and today. I didn't get much done, but we did look at more flooring samples & brought to our house tile, carpeting and vinyl or laminate (forgot which) wood looking samples. We actually made a decision & waiting for price quote.
