I chose the entryway. With a broom, dustpan and a wet rag standing by. I slid out of the way the cat tower...the kitty never moved..and the Pothas green plant on a plant stand. Then I swept the floor really well, lined up the shoes that were left there, wiped the places that we put our drinks on the ledge and wiped the top of the front door to get the dust. Took the brown leaves off of the plant. This gives a great feeling to the house as you enter and says Welcome! I highly recommend doing this.

I decluttered in my closet yesterday ...I got a whole tall kitchen bag worth of donatables ( in five minutes) and then took them to my nearest "Donation only" place. Today, I spent all morning taking my Mom to the Doc and just returned home . I am getting reset and ready to fill another bag from our coat closet in the hall. I have plenty of bags!

I made 2 or 3 trips down to basement with items from den. Those items should have been down there anyway !

Way to go BetsyMarie for bringing in the kitty litter. My kitty litter has lived on the front porch too.. along with the bag of dog food and a case of waters. I couldn't think of what to do for my 1 minute, so I emptied out a desk drawer full of papers. I kept a small amount for our taxes and threw away the rest.

My next 'one and done' is going to be picking up the cat toys and putting them in their basket. At the moment the house is too chilly to do it. But that is next. edit: task done. It is cute to watch them remove their favorite toys from the basket.

My one minute task is to take a brown paper bag out on the front porch and pull the dead, mushy primroses out of the porch pots, and throw the lot into the organics bin

Welcome charis Yay That is an excellent 1 minute task and you got a little vitamin D also. I just got through clipping all the dead off of two chrysanthemum's there was green growth underneath. catcats I'm glad the one minute helped you to pick up that phone and get started on making your appointments. This is an excellent 1 minute for anyone to try.

I needed to put tp in a couple bathrooms this morning and thought that would make a good 1 minute task. So I did it right then... hence a double sense of accomplishment.

Just went downstairs and cleaned up the 2 cat pans. Of course, Mocha ran down in front of me so he could supervise. Latte has more faith in my ability to do it properly, so he doesn't come down.

That's fantastic Ya'll ! I just emptied our bathroom trash. The best thing about doing the 1 minute tasks is no demand resistance.
