Thanks bree, when I went downstairs she told me she wanted to go out, so we did. Her urine already looked almost normal, although that might come and go. Then when I came in I sat down on the couch to pick up the books and things I left there while sitting up with her last night, and she tried to jump on the couch but couldn't make it up there. So I lifted her rear end up, and she snuggled up--so I covered us both with a throw and sat down there with her for a long while, reading. She has to be feeling better if she wanted affection, when she was in her anxious state last night she didn't acknowledge me even being there.
I will wait for lunch since I ate breakfast so late, but now I really do have to get up and do something.

Good morn--afternoon, everypony!
I am at my folks. Have a couple things I want to do here with DF before I go home.
I have a similar pain threshold to your dear doggy, Diane. Don't realize I have an infection until I cannot walk and am ready for an ambulance! I never understood how other women would be so casual about them, until I realized they get the signal much earlier.
DONE: got dressed made tea updated log worked on book
checked online balance checked email checked calendar ate a protein snack
NEXT UP: update DM's calendar call insurance w/ DF review spreadsheets w/ DF take meds and supplements pack type up medical info for DM
HOME AGAIN: check dates RSVP x2

Wow, that's awful scholar! I always thought it would be good to have a high pain threshold but not when you look at it like that.
The dog seems to be resting comfortably at the moment.
I didn't even finish 10 minutes on the fridge, my shopping friend called again and we talked for over half an hour. Then I had a late lunch. Now I'm sleepy but since it's almost 4:00 I will not take a nap, I will just hope to sleep well tonight.
I don't think I'll get much of anything done for the rest of the day, though.
I did finish a really good book, one of those dark, cold Icelandic murder mysteries--The Mist, by Ragnar Jonasson. I love his books. And, I'm about half way through the second book I started for the challenge, I love it--it's a young adult book called Wonder by R. J. Palacio. Maybe I can at least get some reading done tonight.

Reading back to keep up with you all. So much going on in our lives.
DH bought dinner at a new york pizza place. We got the food and i picked him up to come home. I had to leave him at a Dr office but they cancelled the appointment. I asked him to wait for me but he went ahead and ordered a Lyft. His bad eyes put in the wrong address and he was on the highway for a long time before they discovered his address mistake. Probably over $100 in lyft fees now because he can't see well nough to do this. He really is disabled and we are having major trouble coming to terms with this situation. Me especially.
I put the pizza in the fridge and hope that the food he bought will be enough until next week. We have more than enough in as probable food hoarders. Costco is big sized everything.

Hi reve and oust!
Oust, that's really frustrating about the money wasted on the ride. I'm sorry your DH is having such problems with his sight, I'm sure that's scary for both of you. I hope the doctors can help him, if they don't keep cancelling his appointments!
I did a little more PEEPing but not much else, now I'm eating dinner and the day is almost over. The dog seems okay, but I won't be surprised if she has to go out in the middle of the night again, even if she's feeling better the 10-11 hours overnight is a long time to go with a bladder infection.
Tomorrow is another cold day, then Saturday starts the warm up.
Good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Good morning everyone! All is well at the moment, the dog slept through the night! I woke up only twice during the night and fell back quickly, so that was a good night for me too.
today the boys took a nap together in the same bed.
Oh TML that's great news!
The next time you have work done at your house you will have to hire 2 door monitors to let workers in and out and close the doors behind them. Or else close kitties in a room with a padlock on the door so no one accidentally opens it.
I need to get back into being productive, yesterday was a total loss.
The temp outside is 3 degrees but feels like 13 below. I think it'll get a little warmer where I am than the forecast high of 11, the sun is out and actually feels like it has some warmth to it, which isn't always the case in winter.

Glad you both had a good nights sleep Diane.
Over 1 hour tidying, sorting cables, putting things away, dry wiping counters, putting clean laundry away and more. Pizza boxes by the front door but as its so cold they can wait til Sunday to go out. it definitely looks better in here and i think i did this 1 hour thing at least 3 times this week alone.
Seeds are coming up, we have 6 and it looks like one of each, which is good. The 3 empty pods i put lettuce and Thyme in hoping they will come up in the next week.

Good morning PS and scholar!
PS, how nice to go to an event, when is the wedding? Is it local?
Scholar, if you write a book about organizing, you can be the new Marie Kondo now that she's retiring from decluttering! Although I'm sure she's not retiring from book writing, her next book will probably be about how much more important it is to spend time with your children than worrying about that silly decluttering! (Can you tell I always thought she was a bit of a fake?)
I took the dog out, the temp right now is only 9 so maybe we won't go over the 11 degrees like they predicted. It didn't feel too bad out there though, maybe I'm just getting used to the colder temps.
One more list before lunch.
