Diane congratulations on the bookcase! I am impressed also you found a screw that worked since one was missing TwinkleToes happy late birthday! I didn’t get a whole lot done yesterday- kept up with the dishes, cleaned the litter; took out the trash; went to the grocery store; filled the gas tank; mailed some bills. I walked puppy for one hour and it was still very cold! My legs were like ice cubes- she was cheerful and ready for more! today it is 27 degrees warmer than yesterday! still need a winter jacket but it sure seems a lot warmer and that most mysterious thing- the sun -has appeared and that is always a welcome, welcome sight in my cloudy part of the world! I just went to church and now I’m at a big store to buy all kinds of various things from cat litter to a laundry basket to some toiletries- it’s that store that sells everything. I have a crockpot meal I hope to make today- yesterday I made a spinach salad -I was very excited because while I love vegetables, I have been very l a z y lately about actually preparing food and instead eating very simple things not always the healthiest So now to enter the store- I don’t really feel like going in there but I need to get these things

Hey Diane Bree - what's your crockpot meal? I've just been looking up some for inspiration as boyfriend is trying to reduce red meat intake on doctor's advice. cando - what a fantastic list! Inspires me to get to my office soon, especially all of that for the shredding pile! Done: - Load of laundry - Laundry from machine to dryer - Prepared batch meal 2 (chicken curry) which is an hour away from being done - Emptied dishwasher - Stacked dishwasher (we can probably get another small load on tonight after dinner) - Achieved coffee table zero - Achieved dining table zero - Wiped down dining table - Wiped down kitchen worktops - Meal planned for the week and ordered groceries To do: - Portion and freeze the curry once it's done - Continue batch cooking (prepare bolognese, consider cooking it over night, check dates on chicken for fajitas) - Work on organising donations - Plan a trip for donations and getting to the recycling centre this week - I've noticed our glass recycling is totally full and overflowing so have suggested we aim for a recycling centre trip on Tuesday. Means I need to get away from work quickly, which has not been easy with a trainee this week.

Most of today's goals ticked off ▪️Got the cooking done as planned before allowing myself to escape to the allotment ▪️Cleared the last of the prunings out the backyard Today's schedule got upset by having to check out a nasty surprise in the attic,☹️ (I'll go up there again on Tuesday to take another look) ▪️ 3 good hours to clear and rearrange more of the allotment, the whole plot needs reorganising to make it "little old lady proof" ▪️Yet more of the eternal washing up completed tonight ▪️▫️▪️▫️ Not much time tomorrow, Tuesday the next time available to make real progress.. . One item only decluttered today(a cracked pair of garden clogs, thankfully I finally decided to fling them today, as it made me go up into the attic to bring down my spare pair, and discovered the start of condensation settling on the attic hatch,, ...💦

reve my dinner was meat-based and not very good! It was a pot roast w onions and carrots and potatoes. Buy it made me feel sick. I don’t eat meat very often I took puppy for a long, long walk in this warm 40s weather. She was very happy. It was sloppy due to the mud from the melting snow and ice and I ended up falling ingloriously in the mud. Thankfully a soft landing. I dropped the leash in the fall and puppy was running around me confused and scared. I managed to grab the leash. I am fine just kind of pulled apart a bit! Took advantage of puppy post walk nap to watch videos. Ate my not great dinner Donated and dropped off a Few things. Did laundry of my muddy coat and jeans

bree sorry to read that you had a fall. I'm glad you're not hurt, but it is unsettling to take a fall... dtesposito So happy that your Puppy is better! You are such a good Mom! Also, fantastic on the bookshelves. Hope the soreness goes away quickly. reve Wish that I had time to shred all those papers. May have to box them up & move them, anyway. *sigh* Helped DH box up a crib/toddler bed -- mostly it was boxes, but had to completely re-pack it to put the headboard in. Bag of trash to outside can Emptied kitchen trash & replaced bag Gave meds to Dog Fed Dog 1st meal Folded/hung load of laundry Moved load to dryer Put away that load Folded/hung anothe laundry load Put iit away DH ordered some bankers boxes. DH is moving one of our old vehicles to the front of the house. He has talked to all our neighbors about us needing to park all our vehicles on the street in front of our house for a few weeks as we're getting our floors replaced. 5 papers into recycle bag 1 paper into trash 1 into "to be shred"bag Weighed Showered2shoes so far drank at least 24 oz of water Have been doing well, dieting... slowly. Have lost at least 3 1/2 lbs in the last week & a half. Y'all please excuse my typos... tons of them. Just in too big a hurry all the time. bbl CD

Good evening, everyone!
I had my long phone call, took the dog out, cooked a giant sweet potato so I could have some with with dinner, and have eaten already. I really love sweet potatoes!
I've been feeling like I have allergy symptoms all day, it was freezing on Friday and only started thawing out on Saturday, could there be enough allergens out there to cause allergies already? Maybe mold, which I know for sure I'm sensitive to? I am wheezy, have that weird head feeling and even feel something in my upper airway. If these are allergies already I will be in for a rough spring.

Bree, how awful to fall, especially to let go of the leash--you are so lucky that puppy was concerned about you and stayed with you! I think if I fell with my dog and dropped the leash she'd be trotting up the block without me to see what people she could find to visit.
Cando, are you going to be able to stay in the house while your floors are done? Or will you have to stay somewhere else?

Glad you're OK bree! Take it easy! Cando, if you know anyone who works in a sizeable office, they may be able to offer you an hour with a big shredder. Our old family business has a huge one that could shred 30 sheets at a time no problem. There are also companies that will do it for you, but that comes with a charge of course.
Done: - PUPA kitchen - Set out clothes for tomorrow - Organised all donations from spare room into one box and one bag - Emptied trash can in spare room, and removed two full bags to the pile at the top of the stairs for trip to recycling centre - Organised cardboard recycling into one single box

Good night Diane your post about your dog trotting away made me laugh! Thanks Diane, reve and cando. Cando do you have a lot of cars ? I have one but ideally I’d have two do DD has a car for the summer. I keep thinking DD is home!! Meanwhile puppy is out back barking! I better call her in as I think it has reached the limit- nearly everyone here has a dog so I think there is a grace period for barking. I did all the dishes Put the crockpot away. Proud as I have before let it soak for a couple days Took recycling out Did a little pick up of dining room table Moved laundry to dryer Did full night time routine. Proud of my flossed teeth! Boycat wants out but he could take off for a couple hours do he is a little unhappy prisoner Puppy is in -she carefully brought a leaf in with her and now she is chewing it! Gnite!
