Just met with the city inspector. He was not the original inspector that inspected our apartment but he is the former full time inspector from years ago. He remembered me. He said we have a lovely apartment and that we could easily get $1500/month in rent. He said there are apartments that barely pass inspection and get $1200-1300. Yikes!
So now to get people to move in!

Ohblondie, that's good news! Why did you have to have the apartment inspected, is that routine?

desposito the city in which my apartment is, was known for slum housing. It was an industrial city that lost it's industry. It was a very blue collar city, small but tightknit. Over the years the city has changed for the worse. In an attempt to get control of the rental market and the absentee landlords, and to generate some income I am sure - the city has instituted this inspection process. Rental apartments are to be inspected every two years or when you get a new tenant. We tend to get long term tenants so they get an inspection every two years. Our apartment became vacant on the same cycle as the inspection. It protects us too. I had a tenant claim our apartment was not fit to rent and my response was, it passed inspection with the Housing and code enforcement office so call them. She said our basement was dusty/dirty and I asked her why she kept having poker parties down there? They ripped down all of the shelves we built for storage and painted obscenities on the walls. I could go on and on. As long as I have a good reputation with code enforcement - I am happy. One more thing to do then I am done for the day.

That's interesting ohblondie, I can't imagine if there were regular inspections where I used to live, some neighborhoods were nothing but rental buildings, there would be a lot of inspections going on. So hard to get good tenants!
I worked on my fridge for a little while, there were some things in there that had to be packaged up and put in the freezer, where there is very little available space. Now I'm going to take the dog out and feed her, and while downstairs look in my file cabinet for a copy of my sister's husband's death certificate, which was just requested of me by my sister's SIL. She's working on family history documents for her children.

Heading back out soon so DH can get to work
Funny you should say about the dizzy spell i think it was bree, i had the same thing a couple nights ago and had to find my Dizzy pills and 🤢 pills too. It happened before for me so as soon as the clock started moving from side to side, i knew to take the meds quick because it can get really really bad. Hope your hubby feels better soon. Awful to be thinking about final paperwork, i can't face all that yet. Brave you.

Done: Achieved coffee table zero Grabbed necklace that I am giving away to a colleague - put it on top of the stairs Spent nearly an hour in spare room: - Went through bag of cards and such, threw out half and organised half into a box - Threw out box for old headphones - Gave myself amnesty and threw out a nearly full pack of cotton wool - Took tub of stationery through to stationery box in office and emptied it in - PEEPed accessories into drawers, and got rid of remainder of tub - Put away cassette tapes and neatened up unboxed dvds - Threw out a small number of old toiletries
I opened up one of my small ottoman type boxes that I was unsure of..... it's full of daily toiletries type stuff. Long time readers may remember last year's pledge to buy no more moisturiser? I've just found another 9 bottles. And 6 bottles of hand sanitiser. And 7 of hand cream. Among other things. I'm leaving this for tomorrow to think about what to do with it all!
Tomorrow - recycling centre trip after work Boyfriend to empty upstairs trash cans and collect glass recycling Put away laundry

I've just found another 9 bottles.
I have to admit I've had similar experiences...
I've just spent a while on book research, I still have books on a wishlist at the book trading site, and every time I go through the list I'm able to take a few more off, so that's good. I either lose interest or just decide that when I want to read those books I can get them from the library. Although, I do have some obscure books on there, and when I check the library site they don't have them. So, if I still want to read those I have to leave them on the list.
I'm going to eat dinner now, so that means I'm done for the night.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

Good morning!
My plan was to try to grocery shop today and then go to the library tomorrow, but there are lingering showers around this morning and I don't want to get caught in those so I've switched days, I'll do the library today. Luckily I finished the book I was reading last night, it's due tomorrow. So I hope the weather cooperates for a shopping trip tomorrow. Thursday we have rain all day.
Pretty good sleep again last night, many wake ups but fell back right away.

Ok, had my fun in the pool, now time to get serious and face the attic, hopefully all I'll need to do will be to chop back some of the insulation if it's too close to the eaves .. Edit. Attic done✅ some of the insulation had slipped down to block the eaves vents, Got them shifted, and put the big dehumidifier up there again ..There was signs of condensation in another area in the loft,🙁 ... Hopefully clearing the vents will do the trick🤞 On this afternoon's list also➡️ ▫️Birthday card✅ ▫️Cook✅ ▫️Dishes✅.....why do they take forever 🥴? ▫️Hallway ▫️& Some work on the kitchen ▪️(a little bit done) .. Ok bedtime, sleeping tablet tonight,, I have to break this self-destructive pattern of existing on minimal amounts of survivable sleep..🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Late shift tomorrow so time then to do some of the work on the kitchen that got missed today

Hey everyone. @blondie hoping your DH is ok
Yesterday, I was able to completely clear out a kind of briefcase. Some things were put into “to be shred” bag Some tossed. Some into recycle. 2 bags into trash Put it into Office Supply Closet Have a med size box that I emptied & can use to pack some stuff in. Now, only have one smaller box left. Took it to work. Need to go thru more of its contents while there, hopefully this week. Yay! Top of guest bed in DS’s old room is beautiful! Level zero! DH was impressed! Filled out a 15 page medical form for my new dr. Took an incredibly long time! Cause have CRS & took forever finding something to kinda go by on my computer. Never found a good one so got bits & pieces different places. Like email. I will scan these later & keep them in a good place. Deleted 70 emails while I was looking which was a result of side-tracking. Ghah!
