ta-da's: Called into CLA meditation meeting. finished reading the chapter in BIT Emptied the dishwasher Moved Laundry to Dryer Got the mail. Shredded the junk mail. The certified letter came. It was from Pfizer regarding the Lyme Disease vaccine trial I had been participating in. The site where I had been going has been discontinued from the trial so I won't be getting the third dose. I do need to set up a final meeting over the phone to discuss any side effects, or lack thereof. In about 2 or 3 years, I will be notified whether I got the vaccine or the placebo.
to-do: Continue with laundry Continue with kitchen tidy-up Complete a post about BIT. I'm trying to post weekly, but have not posted in a couple of weeks.

Good day WITers near and far! Interesting that you were part of a Lyme disease vax study Ally. Getting Lyme is one of my main fears these days! I think I read that the vax is being discontinued overall? There was a previous attempt at a Lyme disease vaccine, but there were some safety concerns, (possible increased risk of arthritis) so that was discontinued. This is a new trial for a new vaccine. I just spoke to the woman on the phone and she said that they are currently enrolling pediatric participants. I had been in the Pfizer Covid vaccine trial through my employer, and everything seemed to be top-notch and protocols were followed to a "t". I signed up for this vaccine trial through a for-profit company who contracts with different pharmaceutical companies to recruit and test out vaccines/medications. I have been on the other side of these trials and usually everything has to be done in a very precise way. I felt that this company was not as professional and they seemed to cut corners. For instance when I enrolled in the Pfizer covid vaccine trial, I spent about 30 minutes with the physician, first getting a history and physical, but then also going through the 25 page protocol with informed consent. This company had me read through the protocol and informed consent on my own, on an iPad, and then talk to a doctor ON THE PHONE for about a minute... basically, "How are you feeling today?" and "Give us a call if you have any problems." Apparently Pfizer found that this company wasn't following all of the guidelines that they were supposed to, so they aren't using them anymore.

ta-da's: Removed clutter from a section of kitchen countertop. Wiped area down Did some food prep to-do: It's a beautiful day out. I'm going out for a walk now. Work on content for BIT threads. I'm in the part of the book where the rubber meets the road, and its getting tougher, and I'm more resistant to some of the content. More food prep goldenthreads, I hope your pharmacy trip goes better than last time.

Well done on kitchen Alley. Good that you are taking advantage of sunshine. I did get a few things out of the freezer and organized some others. I pulled out a lentil bowl frozen meal that I had for lunch. Not great but now I know. I threw away most of a box of pierogi even though it was not old. I tried saucing, and frying and mixing but I just didn't like them. I will be having salmon today if it is not freezer burned. Ramen if it is. No one picked up the old vacuum cleaner but the garbage truck took it away. It was 50 years old almost! TaDA dishes garbage can moved gloves to closet and bowl to kitchen from entry to do make a list of things to move forward with ie gift to nephew, stock sale/conversion,will,optomitrist,repairs to house. OK that is about 27 things. But just a list is one thing
