hey everypony! I once lost a ring I got for Christmas. I found it the next year in the bag we reuse every year for our loot.
DONE:
slept in at my folks helped DF with editing a piece he is working on drove home--remembered I wanted to pick up a prescription so I had to backtrack a bit picked up prescription dropped the cardboard I had in the SUV at the transfer station to recycle home again
hid in my room for a bit took 2 out for a walk--so adorable did some dishes talked to D did some more dishes made food

Good morning peaceseeker I’m so glad you are in PT! Must be really good if they are working you. Hoping it will help immensely! Also, congrats to your DH. catcats I’m thrilled that you found your rings! Ceilings in hallway, main living room/den, & Entry Hall have been painted. Painters were supposed to come at 8am yesterday to paint DS’s old room next. Of course my DH didn’t let me know that until about 10pm the night before. We were both very upset about it as we don’t have that room & closet ready for painting, yet. I don’t understand why DH arranged that when he didn’t get home (to the hotel) from working at a clients site until after 10:30 that night. We are both so stressed out. So we woke up really early & went to our home yesterday for DH to pack up all his computer stuff that he had moved to DS’s old room phones, etc. and for me to work on that bedroom. That’s the only room with a bed, right now, & we had been living out of that room when we had come back home after the floors were finished. And, we didn’t think they’d get to that room until next week—giving us time to remove things we had shifted from other rooms into that room & closet. DH took 2 hours to pack up his computer equipment!! I ended up calling the painters as DH got stressed with my questions about the scope of this painting project. He said things have changed so much that he doesn’t know anymore what all they’re painting. I asked for the painter’s contact info & he gave to me. He didn’t want to call them. And I could tell by his comments that he didn’t want me to call. They were not there & it was 10am. And that’s it, I must have a better idea of the scope of this project & when they’ll be out next. Whew! I’m really glad that I got to speak with the painter. I was so happy to be told that won’t be back out until Monday. Something had come up & couldn’t be there this weekend after all. Found out the scope & planning stages. Now, we can relax some!! The main contractor who is doing the bathroom himself & possibly with some to help him, has been at the hospital with his wife. She’s not well at all. Will be having another surgery. We don’t want to rush on the bathroom. We have another nice bathroom so no need for him to rush even if it takes another month. So we met DS, his wife & our grandson at their house an hour away at 3pm & were early for once! 30 minutes. We napped in their driveway as they were sleeping while grandson had his nap. Then, we treated them to a very nice sushi restaurant, that DDil chose as her very favorite restaurant for her birthday (which was last weekend ). Afterwards she & I & toddler went to a new baby store she had been wanting to go to. I love being with her! And of course the baby. She is a such a wonderful person! Afterwards, back at their house for a while. Then, picked up our mail & back to hotel. Earlier to bed for the first time in weeks! Ended up a fantastic day! Cd |

Cando, I'm glad you got the painting schedule figured out and spent time with your son & family. You need some relaxation amidst all the renovation stress.

Diane, DH is my 2nd husband, we bought current house in 2002 and married in our backyard 2003. So married 20 years this October. I had amazing travel, experiences, fun and children during my 1st marriage but the second marriage gave me an amazing marriage. Hugs, catcats, so wonderful! So glad you got a break from Reno stress candomylittlescholar - your ability to follow through and keep moving while on meds has me considering talking to Dr once I am a little bit more rehabilitated. I've never taken ADD meds before but I swear it is getting harder to self regulate as I get older. TwinkleToes - this is the reason my biggest room aka should be the master is my studio with all my projects. I can so relate. I did grocery list and morning routine. I'm going very slow again today. |

Twinkle Toes my whole house is an issue. I can understand about spreading mess. Done: I did laundry (wash - still need to dry last load and start folding) (done) I picked up groceries and put up needed stuff (done) I sorted all my mail (shredded some stuff) (done) Paid bills (done) Pending Next week: I need to organize mail but that is going to have to be later in the week (ie sort it for filing and etc). (To do later in week) Next up this weekend: Pick up kitchen Clean entry way Clean litter boxes for kitties Fold clothes Take shower Listen to a work video presentation |

Good afternoon scholar, PS and TML!
I had lunch and then took a very long reading break, during which I almost fell asleep twice.
TML, the dog is doing okay, she will go in tomorrow early morning for a vet exam--they come and pick her up and drop her back off to my house, they charge a fee for that but I'm so grateful they offer that because I don't know what I would do otherwise.
Next I'm going to finish my seed research project so I know which seeds to plant when during the month of March.

May my many dear friends here be blessed for their support and joy- sharing with me upon finding my rings. I had not talked about it much while they were missing, but it was such a sadness on my heart. I appreciate your kindness. I went to Mass this morning and prior to that had done most of the basic things, bed, cat pans, etc. After I got home and had lunch, I took out trash and took recycling out and to the curb out front. There were several big boxes to go too. I am lucky that for some reason, they don't make me break down the boxes. I am exhausted today, to the point where I feel like I am falling asleep at the keyboard,  . I had trouble sleeping last night. Glad I have dinner already made, just needs reheating. I think I am finished for the day. catcats |
