Good morning oust! I'm glad your plants are doing well. I bought some lettuce seeds to plant for the yard rabbits but they stopped coming around by mid-summer. Maybe I'll plant some this year.
I'm having to adjust the dog's yard times a little because of DST. I really, really wish they would get rid of it.

good morning everypony!
I am sleepy. I planned to go over to DPs early-ish so I could come back and hang with Lady D while 2 is visiting his DF, but gosh the bed is calling! I had BIG FUN on Friday--gourmet dining out, and then a concert. Yesterday I didn't do much, tried to give myself a "wolf cut", then babysat 2.
DONE: dishes decaf changed clocks
made bed booted laundry took meds updated log checked calendar checked email--unsubbed from a couple checked notifications updated challenge
NEXT UP: flip laundry sweep

I went out for a couple of hours to get meds for DH and then Costco for another fix of his reading glasses. I am not myself. I sat in the car just to hang out for a while as i didn't want to be around people. I watched everyone rushing around and felt not a part of it at all today.
We had to do some email reading before he heads back to work to see what he missed on Vacation I cooked up something soooo easy because...i'm not feeling it i Hung all my clothes for a few hours before they go in the dryer for 20 minutes or so
Cold here, not much above 40 degrees.

Good afternoon PS!
Oust, maybe it's the weather--do you dislike grey weather? I get energy from gloomy weather but a lot of people are depressed when it's grey for several days in a row.
I took the dog out--there's a very light combination snow/rain, but everything on the ground is melted already. We have one more day of possible snow and then the sun comes out for 2 days--this week I have to go to the library, to Walmart and for xrays, although only the Walmart trip requires a dry day.

This weekend list: 1. Get my meds refilled 2. Get my YMCA membership straightened out 3. Make a sleep schedule and set appropriate alarms on my phone So I went to the ED last night and got some pain pills and my meds adjusted, plus some priority consults for my main providers. That probably sounds weird, but I go to the VA, so that kind of complication is pretty normal. One thing down. The Y actually requires me to go there and fill out forms. I will call tomorrow and see if they can fax the forms. That leaves the sleep schedule. Between the pain meds and the extra dose of seroquel, I feel like a grogged-out, drugged zombie. But I will give it a shot.

Hello reve and erin!
Erin, are you setting a sleep schedule because you stay up too late? I was just mentioning here that a lot of us are having trouble sleeping lately. I think my issues are due to stress, but I know that trying to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day is really helpful.
I've been puttering around doing some things, I'm making an attempt to PEEP the upstairs before bedtime. I had dinner and it won't be long before it's time to take the dog out and get ready for bed.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow in the weekday thread!
Diane

desposito I am setting a sleep schedule because of my bipolar. Turns out, skipping sleep and using excessive stimulants is a sure-fire way to throw myself into a mania, and the mania itself contributes to insomnia. I get in a cycle of sleep deprived>> caffeine>> more elevated mood>> can't wind down at bedtime >> more insomnia>> more caffeine>> and so on, until I'm barely sleeping at all and I think I'm queen of the world. I also take meds that make me extremely groggy in the mornings, and I need to plan to take them early enough so they wear off before I have to do much of anything. I need at least an hour and 3 cups of coffee in the morning before I am good for anything. The good news is, I got the stupid thing done. I have to actually put it in Google calendar with my work schedule, school schedule, appointments, etc. While I was at it, I added in a couple of online meetings I want to attend more regularly, time for a morning routine, and 2 days a week to go to the Y. If I actually follow it, I will have time for my most important self-care activities, my pets, studying, and even a scrap of a social life. So good night everyone! See you tomorrow in the weekday list.
