I have a note from the doctor, leaving me off work for a week. This is what I need to do: 1. Start following my sleep and med schedule so I can get myself into a good routine. -- Created a workable sleep schedule taking my difereing school and work shifts into account. -- Put the med schedule into my calendar and share it with my friend --Set Alarmy alarms in my phone to force me to take them at the right time --OUtline simple morning and evening routines 2. Pay some bills 3. Organize my credit cards and budget 4. Find someone to be my preceptor for this semester -- Sent emails to everyone on the preceptor list asking who would want to take me on --Waiting for replies 5. Put in my April clinical schedule6. Finish putting my laundry away 7. Drop off my current dirty laundry at the laundry service 8. Make appointments to see my psych nurse practitioner and my chiropractor, and acupuncture -- Called the VA and asked for a call-back from psych nurse (waiting for reply) -- Call the VA and ask for appointment with Chiropractor Call accupuncture clinic for appointment Follow up on appointment calls
9. Move my YMCA membership to the branch that is closest to my school. Call Y to find out what they need from me Make sure i can afford it 10. Make appointments at my acupuncture clinic11. Clean this place up enough so I can spread down my yoga mat --Tackle mess under table --Sweep floor --vacuum 12. Make sure I have a swim bag packed with swimsuit, towels, and personal hygiene items. 13. Text some friends and go out for some coffee14. Finish a series of blog posts about how EKGs work --Re-label the post i started --Post detailing the electrical conduction in the heart --Post detailing how electrical conduction turns into muscle contraction 15. Make a dent on my upcoming assignments. --Finish outline for first Trauma chapter --Finish notes and outline for second trauma chapter 16. Most of all, have a low-stress, low-stimulation week to relax and let myself unwind so I can get back to a balanced state. Take dogs for hike Add yoga and meditation (10 minutes each) back into my morning routine 17. Get copies of my BLS instructor card printed at Staples 18. Mail the reciprocity request so I can get my Illinois EMT licence reinstated. 19. Find my paycheck and put it in the bank 20. Go out to my old job and pick up my last check. 21 Find and put the new plate on my car --Find plate --Attach plate to car The red ones are my work for today. My overall plan for the week is : 1. knock out this annoying, random stuff that always hangs over my head if I don't tend to it (and creates more stress, which leads to worse and less sleep, which winds me up for another mania) 2. Create some sort of structure around my days, so I can make time for all the things I need to do. One thing I learned form Flylady is the importance of solid habits and routines. My life is always better when i have them in place. They are really the framework of everything else in my life. Have a great, and productive, day, friends!

Good morning scholar and erin!
tried to get signal contacts to migrate
Scholar, half the time I have no idea what you're talking about!
Erin, I like the way you're using your list!
Once again, I have managed to mess up the upstairs in just 2 days. I'm going to just go through and try to declutter until it's time to take the dog out again.

I didn't get much decluttering done, I remembered I wanted to make an appointment for my xrays today so went online, couldn't figure part of it out so called the number that it gave if you have questions--first got a person who kept saying "just do whatever it says on the website" and finally must have been told to stop, because she came back and said "I'm going to transfer you to scheduling." Finally got them scheduled and then tried to fill out the previsit registration online and kept having problems, it wouldn't accept my information or my electronic signature.
So like most customer service interactions, that tired me out.
The new dog bed arrived so I opened that and I moved the old dog bed to the reading room in place of the comforter which is on the floor under a table. She seems to like the new bed and looks more comfortable on it than the old one which is flattened out in the center.
I forgot to mention that coming home from the library I saw a pair of robins--the first I've seen this year. They were walking across the street, which is why I noticed them. The only other birds that I can think of offhand that "walk" are crows. Well, birds that I would see here--other birds walk, like flamingos...but if I saw flamingos here that would really be noteworthy!
I still have to call my decluttering client, I've been calling her most mornings now because she says that makes her get started on her work earlier, but didn't today because of going to the library. Then it will be time for dinner.

My crockpot supper doesn't appear to be done. It was corned beef and cabbage and it was so full that the kid didn't set down tight until it cooked down a bit So I asked dh to make eggs and bacon. I did clean up the kitchen so he could cook. And I will have to clean up after he is done! ......

All our snow melted today. I took the doggos to the woods for a little walk, then came home when my back started to bug me. Instead of the things I planned to do, I signed up for a bunch of peer groups on Hey Peers and took the dogs out, but I did make plans with 2 friends to go out the next 2 days and figured out how to divide up my errands over the next 2 days as well. Bonus project: Picked up dog poop in the yard! Woo hoo! Diane, I saw the first robin here yesterday. It was hopping around in the snow and still managing to score some worms. @mylittleschollar I used to think staying even sounded boring and far too simple to be worth considering. Now I understand how difficult it really is. I also understand that it isn't just a boring, basic thing. It's the foundation for everything else. Thanks for the video, oust !
