Good morning WITers!
ta-da: Got up checked on chickens, fed them. Prepared and ate breakfast Loaded up the dishwasher Tried to feed the cat. She is the pickiest eater in the whole world!
to-do: Give fresh water to the chickens Clean out cat food cans that are in the sink. I was away for a couple of days, and DH puts them in the recycling bin without cleaning them. I pulled them out last evening and allowed them to soak overnight. Scrub sink and surrounding kitchen countertop.

missjean, She showed up at our doorstep 15-16 months ago, and we let her in. She is a long haired cat, and was full of mats and underweight. Sometimes we give her half a can of food, and see eats the whole thing, and wants more. Sometimes she acts as if she's hungry, but refuses to eat what we put in front of her. She meows loudly. It seems that she gets pickier the longer we have her. Yesterday when I got home from being away, there were 4 bowls with food in them that she had refused to touch. (My husband will keep trying to give her a fresh bowl, thinking she'll eat it.) I ended up taking the leftover food to the chicken coop. They devoured it. She likes salmon. It used to be that she'd eat 2 different brands, but now she only will eat the more expensive of the two. I was always taught to eat what was put in front of me, and I can't believe we are letting this cat be so picky. I should just let her be hungry, but DH won't go for that. ta-da: The dishwasher is running I cleaned out the cat food cans and applesauce jars to recycle I cleaned out the microwave Scrubbed the sink Water and sunflower seeds out to chickens Got the mail, filed the financial statement and recycled the rest. to-do: Scrub more of the countertop. I had some plants behind the sink that I just moved. (I have a corner sink, with an awkward triangular shaped countertop behind it that is difficult to clean.) Spend at least 5 minutes cleaning spare bedroom. It is extremely cluttered, and I want to be able to get the bedframe out of there within the next month. Declutter downstairs at least 5 minutes Water houseplants

Ally that was an interesting video. I never want to sleep in my car but it was intriguing to see how people do it and all the clever gadgets.

Hello, bree and mouseanne Ally I feel the same way about the cat not eating, but I'm used to outdoor cats which don't eat because they filled up on chipmunks and crickets. Ha ha. beesnest that's an ambitious list, I think. Would it help to break them into smaller tasks? I'm not criticizing; I'm commiserating. This is Day 5 or 6 of cleaning two bookcases. I managed to burn my thumb and forefinger on a hot bulb. I have changed my avatar accordingly. 1. Took down the cleanable part of an overhead light 2. Checked the bulbs, which were excessively hot for LEDs. But they are quite old. Compared them to newer bulbs and put in the brightest 3. Started the small bookcase 1. Wipe the ceiling around the light fixture 2. Figure out how to put the cover back on it 3. Put away dry clothes

TaDa Bleach soaked, washed the jars loitering on the sink Washed the dishpan Dried fold put pjs etc
Sewed a good bit Ive been wanting kitchen rag/towels to throw on the floor. Bought 8 or 9 mid size ancient bath towels at the estate sale. Quartered and sixthed, depending, serged edges, folded & in the bin. Normally I'd wash 2nd hand, but I'm going to wipe up floor spills. I might throw them in when i wash rags next.

Nice job on the towels Mouseanne. They will be absorbent and scrubby and will wash up nice. I don't know why you thought that was too much missjean. All I had on my list was to put away the laundry and clean up kitchen after dinner prep. No big project. And those got done. Of course there is a new list of the same things again today since I did more laundry and made banana bread. ta da vacuumed laundry on bed put away-going to need more hangers sorted out a few papers, destroyed some, filed some.\ to do clean kitchen counters

I filled a bag with clothes for donation. I am working on clearing out our stuff again because it really needs it. Pairing down, then re visiting again in a few months really helps Went through a draw and let go a few more things
I hope to do this again a few more times this week. Then start in the garage.

Hi, people. I went on a binge-watching spree the last few days and I have some sort of hangover from it. I am trying not to berate myself too much for the days I lost and how unhealthy I feel today. I wanted to be with people but didn't/don't have the social energy to talk to anyone, not even here. Ugh. Heat continues, even inside. Did some weeding. Cleaned the toilet. Started a load of wash. Go to bed early. Think of a few healthy or helpful things to do tomorrow.
