Good morning WITers! I was going to post an hour ago, but was distracted by a video about a scientific study having to do with parasites, the immune system, and Covid-19.
ta-da: Let chickens out into their run. Collected one egg today so far. Fed cat... more than once. She's hungry today. Loaded the dishwasher and started it. Made breakfast, ate, now sipping on some tea.
to-do: Chickens need water Laundry Empty dishwasher
Declutter Doom Room (Spare bedroom) 5-10 minutes at a time. Shred paper. CLA meeting in about 2 hours?

ta-da: Started a load of laundry Took some stale, outdated whole grain tortillas and kitchen scraps out to the chickens... Took a small pile of stuff out of doom room... most of it went into the trash. found a small piece of fabric that I had been looking for a couple of years ago (made a quilted throw/wall hanging for DD a couple of years back using a mini-pack of fat-quarters which I had purchased years ago. I knew I was missing some, but couldn't find them at the time.)
to-do: CLA phone meeting. Empty dishwasher Continue with laundry

yrwelcome! WTG for getting hydrangeas pruned. I have a few that need to be cut back! ta-da: Pulled a bunch of weeds. Started prepping an area where I will put the raised bed for garlic. (I need to fill the bed with organic matter.) Found the parts for the raised bed. I purchased it months ago, but then never got it assembled. Watched a few youtube videos on planting garlic, bed prep etc. Ate a snack to-do: I'm going to take a short break Refill chicken water. It's about empty Work on assembling bed for garlic. It's small and shouldn't take long. Start filling garden bed after assembly. I have found that I can fill these metal raided beds about 2/3 of the way with partially rotted logs and sticks, and then fill the rest of the way with organic matter, leaves, bedding from the chicken coop, etc to fill the gaps between the logs. Then I top it off with compost and bagged garden soil. It needs to be ready for planting in about a month.

okay that worked... I was able to find at leas a temporary home for everything left on a big sorting table. Then folded that up.
I also consolidated items on the DR table, so there is room to eat again.
I think I'll tidy up the plastic bags, and then call it a day.

mylittlescholar, WTG on getting sorting table cleared off and put away. That is something I never manage to do! ta-da: Released chickens onto their run Gathered recyclables together and carried them out to main road. Went plogging. Filled a shopping bag with trash while walking...then collected 3 eggs from chickens when I returned. Sipped some tea... started prepping breakfast to-do: Empty the dishwasher Move dishes from sink into the dishwasher Finish making breakfast, and eat. Later: CLA meeting Declutter doom room in 5-10 minute increments Laundry?
