Good morning!
Thanks lennon!
Glad you have nice weather womble, we still have a few hot days ahead but the following week looks really comfortable. The humidity goes up today too, so it will feel hotter.
Last night the dog had another panting episode right after getting into bed, but it was shorter and in the middle of it I did hear distant fireworks so hopefully that's what caused it. She did not have to go out again til morning, and I got better sleep.
I'm trying to decide if it's worth lugging the heavy dehumidifier up from the basement to the second floor for the next few days, I think it will help how it feels up here, but it's heavy.
My plant room thermometer also reads humidity so I'll see how humid it gets up here today. The succulents would appreciate the dehumidifier too, they like it dry!

Morning Diane, that sounds quite a task moving the dehumidifier, especially in the heat xx

good morning lennon, womble and Diane a hot one here! I was just out front with the animal tribe. I am again happy to see girlcat stronger! I am going to visit DD today and will leave shortly. So happy! 'thankfully" a package of hers with a dorm room thing came late so I am the delivery person! It was lots of money to ship and I am more than happy to oblige. we will have a meal and I'll need to head back due to puppy. I was not as productive yesterday as I planned. I did finally do my college form and I remembered why I was dragging my heels on it, very complicated process for a relatively simple thing, the online instructions were confusing. but it is done! also paid a bill and set up an auto pay last night i did my 20 item thing and once again it was a success. Maybe I can organize this house 20 items at a time, and actually generally go over once I start. I am one of those with hidden (mostly!) clutter. the public areas of my house can be company ready but please don't go in my basement or look behind a closed door!! next get ready to leave for college town have a wonderful time in college town come home take puppy for a walk fall asleep on the couch!

Thanks Diane I think it’s a good idea for you to wait on the dehumidifier. They’re so heavy and clunky to carry. I’m just about ready to leave.
I did do two loads of laundry this morning and I ended up washing all of my towels. Thankfully I found a clean beach towel to use.

Happy Labor Day and solidarity to all those who celebrate! I was not productive yesterday, unfortunately, and so I have to accomplish a total bathroom cleaning today. I really struggle with procrastination. I needed a quick win this morning and so started by clearing out the big broken bathroom vanity drawer that hangs at a 45 degree angle and is packed with (now old and expired) makeup that I don’t use. It only took me a few minutes to clear out since everything went in a garbage bag. Next up is the bathroom counter!

Hi all, happy Monday We had a bit of a saga today - we were told our ordered bath was out of stock and would be a couple more weeks, so I wasn't expecting a contractor to show up while we were at work today. So our master bathroom has all been ripped out, is currently in our tiny, very public, front yard, and it's going to be a couple more weeks before we can get our new bathroom up and running....I've made noises hinting about compensating me for the disruption considering we ordered it about six months ago. Luckily we have a shower adjacent to our master bedroom, but it's not ideal, and apparently there are big holes in the wall. I've not been brave enough to explore yet. Done: Laundry from machine to dryer Load of laundry Laundry from machine to dryer 2 Reorganised all the clutter from the downstairs bathroom window sill into a basket - rolled towels and folded flannels neatly, etc. Dusted and wiped down window sill and surrounds Threw out several old reed diffusers - I tend to use plug in air fresheners now, so I don't need empty ones, and have more if I do Ordered remaining cube unit inserts as they only had 4 at the store yesterday and I need 8 Emailed a company about alternative bookcases for our little office nook to see if they can arrange delivery It felt nice to pick one little area of somewhat hidden clutter and get it decluttered, cleaned and organised To do: Handle mail properly - tickets to a comedy show that I bought for boyfriend's Christmas arrived today. Yes I am obnoxious about buying Christmas gifts early, hopefully I remember where they are with the new cube to keep gifts together in! Set out clothes for tomorrow Achieve coffee table zero Achieve dining table zero

reve Something like that would absolutely send me, kudos for being so calm about it! Cleared bathroom counter about 85%, which is sufficient. It’s time to move on to clearing the floor, which is the Big Scary Job that I have been avoiding.

Took out the garbage bags that I filled by clearing the bathroom drawer and countertop.
Filled one bag with trash from the bathroom floor. I’m realizing there are a lot of clothes mixed in with the trash. I have no interest in trying to sort/clean/keep any of the clothes (if they have been sitting on the bathroom floor for years, I obviously am not wearing them and won’t miss them), but I don’t know if I have time or strength to bag it all up in trash bags. I’m going to focus on clearing the trash, and just do what I can about the clothes.
Next goal: fill two bags of trash from the bathroom floor.
