◾first lot of washing up ◾Put tapes back onto shelf i had damp dusted ◾listened to part of an e-learning unit ◾processing some produce now for bottling sauces ◾being a good girl and washing up again. .. Not sure what to aim for next, , but looks like the rain is missing us now, ➡so I'd best bring in the dry washing & get stuck into the garden project. . . I found working along with the videos of this professional cleaner quite focusing in a calm sort of way (no maggots in this vid i promise) , and appreciate his gentle humour and understanding.

mylittlescholar It was so easy washing those dishes after they soaked in the hot soapy water. the water had cooled enough to allow me to wash them. I have accumulated some lovely coffee travel mugs so I need to rethink the storage in my cabinet over the sink. They cannot live on the counter/stove top. desposito Have you seen the videos of chickens "carving" pumpkins? you poke a few holes where the eyes and mouth should go and the chickens peck away reve I told my coworkers they will know I am retiring when my desk area is clean (on top and underneath) it is Thursday morning and I have a big meeting in an hour. Our database is getting updated as the result of some regulatory changes and I am teaching our ITS folks how it works so that they can make the changes. I am picking up some carpet cleaner stuff from a co-worker. A stain remover that her friend gave her (He is a professional carpet cleaner and owns a business in NC if anyone needs one). I also think I have a meeting tonight - I need to check schedules. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everypony! cleaners here in 90 minutes
thanks for the recommendation, notanotherdecade! I am always looking for clean-along content. ohblondie when I cleared and cleaned off the counters I had to buy the display cabinet to accommodate the domino-effect displacement of dishes! as it is, I have them stacked within centimeters of the shelf space.
dishes have dried and so now to squeeze them into the cabinets. thank goodness for the very sturdy old school shelving! glass is heavy!
I have also packed up my clothing and put it in the car. last night I separated my cleaning stuff and loaded it up. pulled out today's gear just now. need to tackle the black mold
I am skipping my online check in--hopefully can catch up later. I do need to take my meds; missed them yesterday.

Good morning!
the videos of chickens "carving" pumpkins?
Oh, I will have to look for those for sure! Not only do I love chickens, but I'll bet the end result is perfect for Halloween, with raggedy, gory edges!
Well, last night was bad until midnight, the dog was out at 8, and then at 9:30, then at 11:30--she had a BM each time. She did not eat anything different or more or less than usual yesterday. Each time before going she panted and panted instead of getting up and going to the door so I would know she had to go out. After the 11:30 trip she fell asleep for the rest of the night. I think I fell asleep at maybe 12:30 and let myself sleep til 7, with only a couple of quick wake-ups, so it could have been worse.
It's pretty chilly out today, I'm tempted to try the heat just so I know it's working, if something is wrong I'd rather find out when the next day will be 78 degrees instead of when the next day might be 50. Although, the chances of anything being wrong with the furnace is pretty slim, I just can't help worrying about house things since they are all new-ish to me.

notanotherdecade I like the new video. I could watch only a few minutes of the earlier one. I like his sentence for when you're putting things out for trash: This is my home!

Hi golden!
I did decide to go and put the heat on for one run. Downstairs reached 67 overnight and although I know it will warm up to about 70 over the course of the day I knew I'd feel better if the furnace worked with no problems, so I turned it on for one run--of course, it worked fine! I feel better now.
TO DO:
Open up box with new blanket so I can wash it
Start load of laundry
Put away last load of dry laundry 10 minutes on first floor

Yes i have watched a few of his videos before. I usually mute it and press the skip 5 second button many times as its to long and drawn out for me
Here i have one load of trash to go out checked the tomatoes and i have about 8 bunches of green ones to ripen, only picked two for today DH found a piece of steak in the freezer and cooked that up using some of the Thyme we grew a few months ago, i made a pot of mashed potatoes Earlier i put the dishes in the DW and left out the plates so DH washed the plates and didn't know there was more dirty stuff hiding in the DW. I won't tell him, happy to have him do anything and not get discouraged.

okay I have been quite productive. basically pulling everything out and up so the cleaners can get to the dirt.
DONE: cleaned bowl
took meds
corralled up my stuff
put clean dishes away
boxed up DVD's remaining stuff in the bathroom: small medicine cabinet and three drawers brought his mom's toiletries etc. to staging are near bathroom
corralled cleaning supplies put cleaning cloths in the wash pulled stuff out from foyer pulled stuff out from laundry pulled stuff out of LR gathered up clothing and towels and deposited on the "dresser" (couch)
consolidated some papers vacuumed in laundry/bath--so the ick would be in the shop vac
NEXT UP: call movers w/ questions & requests update DVD and his mom flip laundry wash shower curtain? put draino down the drain clean and organize toiletries put them away

so true! its one of the reasons for them. BUT they missed the laundry/bath room. probably because I was vacuuming in there. dangit! well at least it will be easier to get the next layer of dirt off.
DONE: put a call in to the movers texted DVD talked to his mom flipped the laundry
the sun came out. which means I should deal with all the stuff I put outside pretty soon. but I need a break. and food.

Diane I had to check what 67f was, about 19c ..It's a good plan to check the heating system before getting a nasty surprise in a frosty week. September is that comfortable time between the heat and the darkness, like spring it gives an energy of its own, with the need to prep before winter sends us into hibernation mode.., We're lucky enough to be forecast daytime temps getting up to 19c for the rest of September here, but the longer nights are going to be challenging, time to start using the bright S.A.D. Light I guess

Decade, I could only picture myself on the first day of the first week of 50s or 40s, turning on the furnace and having it not work. And 67 is the lowest I want it to go for the birds, this way I'll set it for 67 tonight and if by chance it does go lower than that on the first floor the heat will come on. The first floor seems to be well insulated, the temperature downstairs takes a long time to change in response to what's happening outside. Unlike the second floor, where the morning started out at 66, but it's now 76 degrees even though it hasn't been warmer than 71 outside. It's the hot sun on the roof, I guess.
I'm lucky to love the winter, the grey days seem to energize me rather than depress me. It must be awful to be depressed for a whole season. Although I guess I used to be in summer, the garden really helped that, summer now has something good about it.
Speaking of which, the dog wanted to go out already so I took her out, and I kept hearing an unusual bird sound, when I came back towards the house I came within about three feet of a bird on the sunflower plant--I'm pretty sure it was a female goldfinch. I guess that's why I'm not finding ANY sunflower seeds on that plant!
I'm eating lunch now, when I finish I'm going to repot a plant or two.

I repotted two plants, actually, cuttings that have been sitting in water for a long time. One is a Peperomia, and one a Sansevieria. I hope they do okay in soil, I think rooting in water makes it harder to adjust to soil, but these were both cuttings from the library and I followed their instructions to use water.
