Hi goldenthreads Nothing wrong with taking breaks and enjoying games, etc. It's not necessarily a waste of time, but rather a time of regeneration. Or so I like to think. I'm slowly plugging away: -scrubbed the kitchen counter -cut up an old towel for rags -scrubbed 2 cutting boards todo: -laundry -wash dishes -trash and recy

Thanks, BetsyMarie . I now pronounce myself regenerated! (I do think I shouldn't start the day with much of a break, though! ) Hi, joyfrau ! Maintenance is good! Started rolling the 12-sided die. If I don't want to do the thing I roll, I will do something from the list below. Watched a video about how to install and use my new external hard drive. Spent 10 minutes going through one of my bags of papers. Discarded some of it. Ran the contents of a small bag of papers through the shredder. Clear kitchen counter.
Clean stovetop. Add current tag decal to car. Rake leaves.

BetsyMarie: I'll be sitting with what you said about the line between maintenance and decluttering being marked by time. Wise words. goldenthreads: I hear you on the break at the start of the day - sometimes I'm steeling myself for something I really don't want to do (sometimes it's just plain ol' procrastination). Good on you for putting the decal on the car - I got pulled over for that once. Ta-da: Lunch Dishes, round 2 Got sidetracked and wound up vacuuming stairs between upstairs and main floor and main floor and downstairs (but, it's a third thing) To do: Clean downstairs bathroom Clean upstairs bathroom Shower Feeling better now that I'm making some progress.

Hi, beesnest. I'm pretty sure I heard the same thing about USPS being slow delivering ordered stamps this year. Good job getting rid of excess plastic containers. It's so easy to assume that every one of them will come in handy sometime. Took out recycling. Took out trash and put out bin for collection. Found an additional large stash of recycling, put it in bin, and put out that bin. Clear kitchen counter.
Clean stovetop. Add current tag decal to car. Rake leaves.

I feel sick and haven't been moving. Can't seem to get warm, but thermometer says no fever. No more trios today. Got dressed. Had meds. Put on a bunch of layers and headed to bed. mañana, I hope
Clean stovetop. Add current tag decal to car--tomorrow's the second warmest day of the week, they say. Rake leaves. I was waiting for the compostables bin to be emptied, so I could use the bin to transport the leaves to the back yard. Wrap present. Wash dishes.
