Today's Clutterbug decluttering challenge was to get rid of 5 clothing items from the closet in 5 minutes. I didn't think I'd be able to do it, but it was actually easy! 1563 + 1 cardigan that's comfortable but makes me look dumpy and washed out 1 skirt I bought from a thrift shop because I needed a skirt in a hurry--would never have bought except for urgency 1 shirt that's not the best shade of red for me and has a lot of linen so really ought to be ironed 1 polo shirt of remarkable endurance--still looks good--but is too tight to be comfortable now 1 nightshirt I haven't worn in years = 1568

Golden, I have some seed packets that are getting too old too, either I will scatter them somewhere, or put in compost--if we planted every single seed we bought or collected, we would need much larger yards!!
34 papers 21 food items 6 miscellaneous hardware items 2 fasteners 1 photo 1 mask 1 cleaning cloth 1 marker 1 bookmark

Yes, I've always wondered why there are so many seeds in a packet. If you use their spacing and plant a variety of crops, you need an enormous garden space. I put most of the seeds in the green waste bin for composting. I have two packets I'm going to scatter in the untended area of the back yard. They were native flowers and some especially for pollinators.

The trash and recycling picked up the second load from DB's house; the last mattress, two office chairs and a tire that had gotten dumped in our front yard. Another load is scheduled for next week. They do four items for $52, and each additional item is $22, so I am spreading it out. But its been a challenge as there are several people involved and so their internal communication is messed up.
DVD added some items to the joint tally--not sure if they represented these, or no.
