Washing hung x2 Vacuuming Cleaned bathroom Chickening Emptied dishwasher and cleaned filter Lunch Gardening I was thinking earlier about problem solving....one of steps of problem solving is defining the problem - what is the problem? Why is it a problem? This step is really important so solutions can be found that are going to work. I was thinking my problems are so obvious, my house is a mess, my garden is a mess! But then I thought a bit more.... actually, my problem is I don't do enough ....the mess is a consequence.... Solution to problem = do something! This seems so obvious but I don't always see it and I get caught up on the overwhelm of not being able to fix the mess So, I'm off to do something!

Good Morning WITers! We had snow overnight. ❄️❄️❄️
I started looking at social media and some genealogy stuff and got dragged down the rabbit hole this morning.
ta-da: meds to cat ate breakfast Called into CLA. I'll be involved with CLA meetings over the next several hours, but hope to be able to do some decluttering while I'm at it.
to-do: CLA meditation into action meeting, then newcomers meeting, then the launch meeting for the step groups. Shred some papers Load the dishwasher
Make a grocery shopping list. I probably won't go until tomorrow, but i keep noticing that I'm low on stuff. Cook black beans. They have been soaking over night.

Good morning, Ally! I expected my day to revolve around helping DH clear snow. That's why I bought the second snow shovel! However, for us, again we got snow on the grassy areas and cars, but it didn't stick on the pavement. So, shoveling averted. 😀 Done -Filled 4-week pill box -Did more decluttering and organizing of kitchen stuff. All the Ball jars now fit in the kitchen, instead of having overflow in the sewing room. -Did some digital decluttering and organizing To Do -Run the dishwasher -Make pudding -Boil eggs razy I go through a similar thing, rolling problems around in my mind and then feeling like the solution was obvious. I feel like it takes me a really long time to figure things out or to "see" things. It's frustrating!

Hi all. Ugly day, but it has been workable. razy , I totally understand about everything being a mess. I think I'm working on it, and I am. And have made very good progress. But.. it seems it builds up again so fast if I take any time off. It seems necessary to stay on top of everything all the time. Sad part is I'm not sure that's how I want to live life. I've not found a comfortable balance yet. done: -organized dishes to wash -put trash can of green waste into the main bin -fixed one rain drain -nice lunch prepared and eaten todo: -collect more green waste -kitchen -dishes, wash
