Hello dear WIT'ers! I love reading about your everyday housework and other things you do in your day to day life! You are all doing so great!
Done ~Unloaded the dishwasher and put everything in its place. ~Washed pots and pans I used for the meal preparation by hand. ~Tidied the living room table a bit. ~Tidied kitchen countertop. ~Took the trash out from both kitchen and bathroom.
To do Vacuum the rooms and the entrance. Mop the floors. Dust the furniture in the living room and kitchen. Help son with dusting, he asked for help as he is having us for dinner there, I think he felt overwhelmed. I don't mind giving a hand of course. I am going to pop up earlier and give the furniture a quick dusting.

Good evening, guys and dolls! missjean, I immediately thought of a song from Guys and Dolls: "I got the horse right here The name is Paul Revere And here's a guy that says that the weather's clear Can do, can do, this guy says the horse can do If he says the horse can do, can do, can do..." Sending "can do" thoughts to everyone here! TA DA: -- wiped up many spots on kitchen floor -- swept various food droppings from DGD -- wiped up bits of dirt on two riding toys of DGD, her toy piano and special chair made by my late DFiL* TO DO: -- finalize final exam 1 -- finalize final exam 2 -- make a to do list for graduation gathering on Saturday * My father in law lived to be 100 years old in February, which was amazing and wonderful. Great party -- two news crews interviewed him. He was so cool. One week later he feel and broke his hip. Another week later he was gone. Heartbreaking.

Hello goldenthreads. Good on getting the winter jacket freshened. And Betseymarie-laundry chores too!. I need to get the kitchen garbage out to the curb. I emptied and refilled the dishwasher-it is running now. I put the excess Chinese food in the freezer. I still have some out for tomorrow.
I need to contact the siding company. I want to have them trim out the electric meter-it was their fault that all had to be redone.

Hello all! I was not as productive as I would have liked over the weekend. Just looking at the clutter left me feeling overwhelmed. I did do a little though.
ta-da: Meds to cat, Ate breakfast Took recyclables out to the curb, when I returned, I found that one of my chickens had escaped, fortunately she didn't make me chase her and I was able to get her back in her pen. Walked around the pen, looking for her escape route, placed a few rocks to help reduce the chance of further escapes. Put dishes into the dishwasher
to-do: More decluttering Tidy up kitchen Sort through and file some papers Last week I ordered a raincoat for my upcoming trip to the UK. It's a good brand, and was on 1/2 price clearance sale. They only had XS and S sizes, and I normally can fit in a Small, just fine. When I tried it on I was wearing bulky clothes, and was a bit bloated. I could get it zippered up, but it was snug around my hips. I had left it out, trying to decide whether to keep or return. Last night I found that DH had thrown out the packaging and the receipt. I said something to him, and his response was that I should "put it away". I'm really thinking that I should return it, and think that if I "put it away", It is likely to be in my closet for years. I'm going to try to make up my mind about this today.

Hello beautiful WIT'ers! @ally, how nice that you have chickens! My dad grew chickens all his retirement life, we always had our own eggs, until he got terminally ill. Thinking of chickens makes me happy. Also, remember, progress, not perfection. You are doing your best, don't beat yourself up. ClimbingPyramids, sorry about your dear father in law. Unfortunately, when an old person breaks a hip it usually ends bad, I used to not know about this fact, until it happened to a family member. Done ~Worked for many hours on the current art project, more work needed though. ~Put on a load of dishes to be washed. ~Tidied the sink and countertop a bit before going to bed. To do Finish the current art project. Unload the dishwasher and put everything in its place. Put on a load of laundry to be washed. Mop the floors in living room, kitchen and hallway.
