I had a mental lapse and mishandled stairs. I think I stretched a ligament when I landed badly. I'd planned to walk to a blood drive site tomorrow. Hope I'm better then. I iced the foot and took an NSAID, and will ice it again. Staying off my feet.

1. Hurt foot. 2. Treated it. 3. Now elevating it.
That's the way it goes sometimes.

I hope your emergencies were nothing major! ta-da: Cat was fed, Ate my breakfast Loaded the dishwasher Checked on Chickens Tidy up the kitchen Started feeling slightly unwell. I will rest for a while. After my rest: to-do: Tidy up dining table 10-15 minutes Tidy up living room 2 10-15 minute sessions Laundry? I should take a shower too. I think that would help me feel better.

Ally good job on tidying. I hope you feel better. My "second wave" of guests cancelled our weekend plans, so there goes the urgency of tidying. I need to keep the momentum regardless. TA-DA 1. Made breakfast out of leftovers 2. Took care of dishes in the sink 3. Cleaned water pitcher - the interior sleeve is cracked but still functions - added it to my "maybe" shopping list. 1. Cleared table and put tablecloth in laundry 2. Pulled containers out of freezer and added one marked "chili base" to slowcooker 3. Started laundry TO DO 1. Make guestbed 2. Dry and put away little pot 3. Grab a box from the dash-and-stash area

Oh no @golden threads. Physical bodies are a ridiculous thing, aren’t they. @ally hope you feel better today missjean thank you @everyone else good work! I didn’t do that much yesterday as I needed to take it easy still. I feel better for having done so. I did go grocery shopping again. I seem to eat everything very fast. To do I am going to drag bike to mechanic soon. What a pain. Eat all the chocolate muffins. It’s going to happen anyway might as well put it on the list Practice music (take advantage of a little extra time)

puppybox your muffin "to do" made me laugh - and now I'm digging out baker's cocoa powder to make a hot chocolate! Ally "slow and steady wins the race" works well for turtles and people under the weather. TA-DA 1. Made guestbed 2. Dried and put away little pot 3. Grabbed a box from the dash-and-stash area TO DO I'll have to figure it out as I go. I have four boxes of miscellany and a lot of loose papers, tools, art supplies, etc. covering a table.

Thanks for the wishes. At first when I got up I thought the foot was no better, but I am able to hobble faster now, and with less pain. I looked up a Canadian protocol for determining whether x-rays are needed for foot injuries, and Dr. Me Myself has decided no. I think it's just a bit of a twist with a deep bruise.
Watered most of front lawn. Washed dishes. PUPA 5 minutes.
Minimal/no foot involvement Email thank-yous to S, M, and D. Inform family of travel plans. Do online questionnaire for blood donation.
Make 20% vinegar for weed spraying. Harvest squash. Clear sofa.
Both feet needed for an extended time Leave early for blood donation. Weed.
Put away dishes. Go through freezer and get rid of old stuff. Evening
Put enzymatic stuff in drains. Finish watering front lawn. Water back lawn.

goldenthreads, I had an acquaintance who had some foot pain for several weeks a few years ago. He was eventually diagnosed with a fractured bone in his foot. It didn't show up on the first x-ray. So, Take it easy.

Too bad about the cat mat @ally Do take it easy as you can goldenthreadsI haven’t eaten ALL the chocolate muffins yet, but I’ll eat the last one later. I keep eating a lot But at least it’s grocery store food. Didn’t go to bike story because of threat of summer thundershower, Delaying hasn’t helped and I will walk a dog soon. I practiced my new piece (Bach concerto for violin. in E major). I DID semi-impulsively buy a new mattress online. If I do things properly and carefully I’ll never finish and never pull the trigger. So I bought something. I am overdue for one and can finally afford it. Now I am forced to move the furniture to make room as I’ve been sleeping on a twin mattress. Maybe even put bedframw together? I don’t feel like it.

puppybox Bach concerto for violin in E major--I'm familiar with the first and last movements of this piece and like it very much, so I'm listening to it right now! You need a karaoke orchestra to go with it, or maybe you just can hear them in your head as you play. What a beautiful piece to be working on.

missjean making cocoa with bakers chocolate powder and butter and Splenda and milk was what I used to for evening snack attacks and chocolate cravings. But I got into bad habits. But you reminded me and i had some nesquik, which was the least bad for you of all the hot chocolate powders, surprisingly. It’s a good halfway step. I walked to my friends house- she’s away but I used her Amazon prime to order things. Got stuck there for a bit because summer storm. Didn’t get anything done when I got back, but I enjoyed it! My hormones are making me unfocused. Tell my uterus it’s not needed. goldenthreads same with me, I knew the first and last movements just by osmosis from life but the middle one will Be trickier because I don’t know it and also because slow ones are harder for me Tomorrow is a fresh new day
