Hi all, except for a bit of wind, and not warm yet, it looks nice outside. I'd love to be able to get outside today.

-water filter
-sorting stuff in sunny room
-took stuff from the freezer
Todo:
-work outside
-look for something in the freezer I know is there
-trip to the store?

We've had rain here, so I really need to get a jump on the dandelions and some other yard cleanup. Took out compostables from last night's pantry culling. Had meds and made bed. PUPA 5 minutes. Call back the alternative insurance company and get exact specs so I can better compare side by side. Add my other email accounts to tablet. Add news and game account to tablet.

Went for a short walk. The rain had been replaced by lovely snowfall, so it was very pleasant. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Made a big batch of granola. Getting ready for bed now... Yes, I was able to put in 2 good sessions outside yesterday. Lots of bending. And perhaps best of all, I don't feel especially sore this morning - just enough to know I actually did the work. done: -cat herding -stealing from razy - thoughts and intentions -hot cocoa w half the cream Todo: -more outside work -investigate something on Amazon -look for item in the freezer that I know is there

Well, my laptop isn’t taking a charge,  so I’m posting from my new tablet. I’ve no idea how to copy and paste on this thing, and it’s slower to type, so it’ll be only ta-das for now.  Started dishes soaking. Set up the second email halfway, but it’s “inactive”. ?! Tried and failed to set up third email, because my phone didn’t receive the text or phone call. |

Back on my laptop! I need to treat this old thing very, very tenderly from now on. Set up email #3 on tablet. Enabling text came through this time. goldenthreads You might just need a new charging cable for your laptop, although maybe it needs a new battery? I replaced the battery in mine once. It's not very hard. Good afternoon BetsyMarieta-da: Started a load of laundry, moved it to the dryer Started the dishwasher Worked on piecing quilt border I took a short break earlier and looked at my dad's DNA matches and found that he has a 1st-2nd cousin who lived in the town he grew up in. Called my dad. He knew some of the family members, but didn't realize they were related. I still need to figure out the exact relationship. Sent a message to the DNA match which should clarify things. (I think they are likely 2nd cousins.)

Thanks, Ally. That's good advice. I did replace the battery last year. The charging cord works just fine with my other two devices. I really think I just keep too many energy-intensive windows and apps open at once. It's habit I need to break. Had meds and made bed. Took out recycling. Put away dishes. Did a few random tasks,
put some laundry away
DH decided that he wanted to swap out the tires on the car, so I helped him. (We have another vehicle to do, but will wait for the next day with good weather.)
to-do:
I'm going to take it easy for a while, Feed the chickens, collect eggs, maybe work on genealogy for a while.

Worked in the front again. A very pleasant day.
done:
-took up some weed fabric
-built up a path depth
-brought out the weed whacker and remembered how to use it. Near the end I kept hoping for the battery to die so I could stop, but it didn't. My arms were getting tired.
-watered everything in so things could settle.
Todo tomorrow:
-test irrigation system
-fix any leaks
-maybe more weed whacking. Battery charging now.
-Eat.

The tub mat is in the dryer (just tossed there with other washed things so HE washer wouldn't sour)
To put the mat in the tub, I need to clean the tub
Before I clean the tub, I need to wash the cat litter pan and let it drip dry for a little bit
Before I clean the litter pan then tub and get the floor wet, I need to vac the bath
before I vac the bath, I need to vac the laundry room, otherwise the vac exhaust will blow dust bunnies everywhere
to vac the laundry room, I need to move the k trashcan and bag of groceries back to the kitchen
to move those things, I need to sweep the kitchen
To sweep the kitchen, I need to clean the cat hair off the broom bristles
....wasn't there a story about a dog and mending a pail with a bail?
